Not everyone is convinced that Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor have separated. For some fans, the timing seems too convenient. Their new show, The Valley, premieres on March 19, and fans are convinced that this whole thing is just a scheme to stir up ratings.
Brittany broke the news about their separation during an episode of her joint podcast with Jax, When Reality Hits. The Vanderpump Rules alum revealed they were living apart. When we shared the story, a bunch of our readers chimed in with their thoughts about the breakup. They aren’t buying it, and that’s putting it lightly.
Bravo fans think there’s something fishy with Jax and Brittany’s separation
It’s not like a Jax and Brittany breakup is totally out of left field. Reality TV couples don’t last. However, there would probably be less criticism about this breakup if it weren’t happening right at the same time as the new show.
Either way, it didn’t take long after Brittany shared her announcement for skeptics to start weighing in and casting doubt. One of our readers even compared it to the “Kyle Richards playbook” from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Another added, “I am 100% sure that they have taken a page from the VPR “Scandoval” that pretty much saved their show. Please don’t buy into this nonsense…”
On the podcast, Brittany said that they’re taking things one day at a time. Priority number one is their little one. Outside of that, she said she doesn’t know what the future holds.
And while Brittany said she had moved into another home, Jax is now claiming she’s right back where she started. Under the same roof as him. We’ll be keeping a watchful eye on this whole situation.
