Stassi Schroeder reacted with disbelief when photos surfaced of Jax Taylor getting cozy with publicist Lori Krebs. “What do you think of Jax now sleeping with his publicist? Dude! It’s like Scandoval all over again,” Stassi, 38, said on the Friday, July 31, episode of the “It Girl” podcast. “This s*** is crazy.”
Pictures emerged last month showing Jax, 47, and Lori at the Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Brittany Cartwright then ended her working relationship with Lori, who had repped both her and Jax for years.
According to US Magazine, Stassi made clear where her sympathies landed. “I feel so bad for Brittany,” she said, adding that she found the whole thing believable and had long suspected the publicist was “bad news.” She credited herself with strong instincts about shady people.
Then came the twist. Despite the jabs, the former Vanderpump Rules star predicted the pairing might actually work. “Honestly, I guess they’re right for each other,” she said. “I hope they get married and I hope it lasts.”
Stassi holds no current line to Jax, whom she dated during the show’s first season in 2013. She married Beau Clark in 2020 and now films Hulu’s House of Stassi. “I haven’t talked to him in five years, it feels like, since before my wedding,” she said.
Jax hinted at his status when a fan floated him as the next Bachelor. “No thanks, I am taken,” he replied. Sources have pushed back on the affair narrative, telling E! News the romance developed only after he and Brittany separated. Brittany, 37, who shares son Cruz with The Valley star, promised to share her side, eventually.
