Brielle Biermann Explains Why Family Weren’t at Engagement to Billy Seidl

Brielle Biermann from The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy recently got engaged to minor league baseball player Billy Seidl, and we couldn’t be more excited for them.

When you think about the dumpster fire she’s had to live through over the last year with Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann at each other’s necks, I’m sure this was the perfect pick-me-up.

The reality star shared a post on her Instagram last week showing off her new engagement ring and a few photos from the special occasion. Immediately, fans wondered where the rest of Brielle’s family was — especially since Kim would never miss an opportunity to publicize this online. However, according to Brielle, she wanted the moment to be between her and her future husband.

Brielle and Billy didn’t have any family at their engagement; just a friend

In a since-expired Instagram Story post, Brielle revealed the truth about why her family and village of siblings weren’t present during her proposal to Billy.

“I told him whenever the time came I wanted it to be just us [and my friend Ty]. I wanted to enjoy the moment & my new fiancé just us!!” she wrote. The 27-year-old added more context, sharing that her partner is “really shy” and not into the crazy “attention” that comes with her life. But all in all, the proposal “was perfect.”

Kim, who some fans hoped would be appearing on the next season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, addressed the news, saying she was “so happy” for the pair. She continued, adding, “nothing makes me happier than seeing my kids happy! It’s the best feeling EVER!! Love you both to the moon and back and look forward to alllll the years to come,” followed with a heart emoji.
