When the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 trailer first hit fans’ screens, Ariana Madix shocked viewers with one accusation in particular against Tom Sandoval. She said, “Ruin my life, my home, and then f*cking attempt to kill my f*cking dog. My lawyer will be dealing with you.”
Yes, Ariana accused Tom of trying to murder her dog. Of the accusation, she later clarified Tom was engaging in “just reckless, careless stuff. Nothing new, nothing that’s out of the ordinary. But yeah, I mean obviously emotions are heightened and yeah, that’s all.”
Since then, fans received more context. Ariana said Tom locked Mya in her room where the dog chomped on wooden skewers from a takeout container and had to head to emergency vet care. The group discussed the situation on the April 2 VPR After Show.
Tom admits to his negligence
Ariana said, “My ex has [been], on numerous occasions, almost more negligent than not when it comes to things like leaving doors open, doors unlocked, whatever. And he not only invaded my privacy by going into my room unauthorized and without my knowledge, but then he locked my dog in the room for three-plus hours.”
Scheana Shay thought it was pertinent to question whether Tom locked the dog up on purpose. However, Kristen Doute acknowledged that she would’ve responded just as Ariana did, even though Tom was just being “a moron.” Kristen said, “He very much could have killed Mya.”
Tom, however, said that Ann Maddox could’ve been the one to leave the door open. Jax Taylor then accused Ariana of a strange hypothetical double standard, saying she wouldn’t have called Ann a dog murderer if the assistant had been responsible. Jax then reiterated that the dog was fine and that was all that mattered. (Doesn’t Jax own pets? What is he saying?)
Tom then started self-reporting by saying that, in the past, Mya had eaten his paintballs and laxatives. Hm. Now how did Mya get those things, Tom? What were they doing on the floor? Even Tom Schwartz had to tell Sandoval that he wasn’t doing himself any “favors.” On the other hand, even though Ariana left her food out, Kristen still blamed Tom for the debacle.
