Lala Kent has landed herself on another person’s sh– list. This time, it’s her Vanderpump Rules castmate Katie Maloney’s mom.
Teri Maloney, who has made quite a few appearances on the series over the years, has taken issue with Lala’s recent comments about her daughter. And it’s not hard to understand why!
After Lala came out swinging for her daughter on social media, Teri came right back. The mama bear also didn’t hold back.
If you come for Katie, you’re also coming for Teri
Fan favorite Teri recently appeared on the podcast I Take Bravo Very Seriously and called Lala’s recent comments about Katie “unfortunate.”
Teri is referring to a recent Instagram Q&A Lala hosted, where she implied that Katie can only be friends with her when she’s not in a good place. “I’m sure if I go back to being miserable we’ll get real thick again. (Contemplated not posting this because I love her mom. Sorry Ter!),” Lala wrote.
Teri responded by telling listeners, “Well, I was very surprised and shocked to, not really see what she said about Katie, but to see that I was included in that comment. Because it was like she knew she was going to say something very, very hurtful [and] extremely out of line, in my opinion, to the point where, not only was it going to hurt Katie, but it was going to hurt me as well.”
“It’s just not the Lala I know”
What especially bothered Teri was how Lala seemed to know what she was doing was not cool. “And then she went ahead and posted it anyway. That’s just not the Lala I know to do something like that. I still don’t understand it. It’s unfortunate,” Teri added.
We’ve seen how protective Teri can be of Katie, and this is no exception. Teri concluded, “Lala is — we’ve always had a very good relationship [and] her and Katie have, too. I mean, they’ve had a lot of ups and downs from different things that happen on the show and in their lives, but that’s their story. But, I’ve spent a lot of time with Lala and her mom, [Lisa]. It’s just not the Lala I know.”
