Lala Kent set the record straight about her feud with The Valley co-star Danny Booko. And, despite some other cast members’ beliefs, Lala’s feelings had zero to do with her friend, Janet Caperna. As you may recall, Janet and Danny’s feud from last season hasn’t been resolved. And if Danny and his wife, Nia Sanchez, have their way, Janet won’t be part of their lives again.
The Valley Season 3 has seen Lala Kent confront Danny Booko
Danny has been serving villain vibes this season because of the way that he has spoken to his wife, Nia. He has been rude and disrespectful to her, which has caused some backlash from viewers. According to Danny, one reason for his actions was having one too many drinks.
Well, his troubling behavior “triggered” Lala, and she called him on it. The next day, when he apologized, she also checked in with him about his drinking. “It felt, to me, that he wanted this conversation done and swept under the rug. And if that’s how he moves, that’s fine,” Lala said during The Valley After Show. In addition, Lala believed that Kristen Doute was part of “an alliance” with Nia and Danny.
Meanwhile, Kristen had some doubts about why Lala came for Danny. “I felt like Lala pointing out the things that Daniel was … very specifically coming from the Janet bullsh*t of it all,” she said. And Danny agreed. “For the past year, all Lala has had in her ear is Janet,” he remarked. “I think Lala took it and ran with it.”
However, Lala put that rumor to bed. “I love Janet, but she does not have that much power, honey,” Lala explained. Then she made an interesting point. “If the situation that happened between Danny and Nia in San Diego flipped over to it being Janet and Jason [Caperna], this would be talked about,” she stated.
The Valley airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Episodes stream on Peacock.
