The Real Housewives of New Jersey just aired its hybrid reunion for Season 14. As the group was split into two rooms, there weren’t the usual confrontations. Expectations for real resolutions, or screaming matches, were minimal. And the episode delivered as much. The biggest surprise was Rachel Fuda’s unexpected pregnancy announcement.
The housewives said their final peace at the end of the episode. Rachel expressed regret for treating Teresa Giudice’s husband Luis Ruelas too delicately during the season.
Rachel Fuda thinks Luis Ruelas will be the “downfall” of RHONJ
The Bravolebrity repeated the sentiment during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in which she said had information to spill about Luis and chose not to, “because I have morals.”
“I’ve said that a million times but that is my biggest downfall, as a Housewife, is that I hold myself to a higher standard than some of the women that are on our show,” Rachel continued. “I don’t feel like I need to ruin people’s reputations and livelihoods in order to make myself successful. I wasn’t raised that way.”
The reality TV star did speak about Luis being the “downfall” of the show, with Teresa as the “common denominator for 14 years.”
“I wasn’t here before he got here. And I think that’s an important thing to kind of realize is, like, it happened at the same time. From what I recall, his involvement in the show happened simultaneously, increased when I became a housewife,” she explained. “So from what people are saying, it sounds like that.”
Rachel added, “So, I think that he kind of poured gasoline on the fire. He just kind of mic-dropped it, you know what I mean? He just put the bookend on it. Unfortunately, I feel like Teresa does have to clean up a lot of the things that he says. I mean, I feel like her podcast solely exists to clean up Louie’s mess.”
The RHONJ star revealed that she is often sent clips from Teresa’s podcast with examples of the veteran star “justifying” her husband’s “actions.”
“So it does seem like there’s quite a bit of toxicity around him,” Rachel concluded.
