Fans all over the Bravosphere were stunned when Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky announced that they would be separating after 27 years of marriage. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple seemed to have it all. The big house, children, money, and success. But it seems the duo has struggled for the last few years. However, some fans still hold out hope that they can find their way back to one another.
RHOBH fans have theories
If you are a Bravo connoisseur, you know that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans have their theories. One is that Mau was a serial cheater, but Kyle chose to look the other way as their marriage stayed relatively healthy. After Kyle’s best friend committed suicide, she started to reevaluate her life choices. During the reunion, Kyle hinted that Mau had broken her trust. One can only assume she finally had caught him in a compromising situation, probably with someone she knew. Naturally, Kyle told him to scram. During the initial separation, she decided to make him jealous by flaunting Morgan Wade in his face.
As Mau started to live his single life, he seemed to love the freedom. However, Kyle clearly hated being a single woman in her 50s. It probably hasn’t helped that she has also become an empty nester during the same time. Fans are now seeing Kyle rethinking her choice to separate. And even though no one knows the real story about why they chose to separate it is still very obvious that there is no love lost between them. If both worked hard and wanted the same goal, I don’t see why they couldn’t get back together.
Mauricio Umansky can’t be a bachelor forever
Right now, hooking up with models and 20-year-olds in Aspen might be everything the father of three dreamed of. But let me tell you that this lifestyle will get old one day. Mau might wake up and regret that he ever let a good woman go. I feel like the allure of bachelor life will wear off. We see it all the time. Guys grow tired of the bachelor lifestyle. Let’s be honest; it’s why most guys settle down after years of being a playboy. Even George Clooney did. Honestly, if Leonardo DiCaprio follows suit, we might have a full-on riot.
I’d almost bet money that Mau is going to end up missing Kyle and their happy-ish married life together. Mau is taken care of at the family’s hearth. There were fresh meals cooked and a warm body in his bed. And a family home that felt welcoming. Eventually, that cool bachelor pad is going to feel like a life sentence instead of an escape. Selfishly, I’d like to see them back together because they were good TV. I loved their family moments. Even though it seemed as if Kyle was more emotionally connected than Mau, I think they could work.
Kyle Richards hasn’t moved on
It’s already been pointed out that Kyle seemed way more obsessed with Mau than he ever was with her. But after watching the current season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it is obvious that Kyle’s heart is broken. While talking to her therapist, Kyle admitted that she had reservations about moving on from her marriage. Her greatest fear is that her estranged husband will decide he’s then ready to work on their relationship. Kyle is aware that waiting around for a decision to be made about her life isn’t the answer. She has been left feeling “anxious” and “impatient.”
These feelings could indicate an underlying idea that Kyle really doesn’t want the marriage to be over. Whether subconsciously or consciously, Kyle is yearning for what once was. Even though many of us feel that the Halloween actor could do better, especially if she has been dealing with infidelity, sometimes your heart wants what it wants. There is a history there between Kyle and Mau. And like it or not, Kyle was proud of their marriage. It would be nice to see her finally get her happy ending.
