Brock Davies and Scheana Shay were wed in a lavish ceremony in Mexico August 23, 2022. The Valley couple have built a loving home for their four-year-old daughter, Summer Moon. But the New Zealand native has two children from a previous marriage living in Australia. And there is the lingering question as to whether Brock can blend the families at all. He does have some work to do in terms of improving his relationship with those kids.
The Vanderpump Rules alum alluded to a blended family situation while praising Brock on Father’s Day. The Good As Gold singer is championing a scenario where Summer can meet her half-siblings. Manifesting the best.
Scheana Shay is hoping Brock Davies can enjoy a “huge blended family”
Brock also celebrated his 35th birthday on Father’s Day. And Scheana shared a sweet tribute to her husband in Instagram post.
“You are the most incredible partner and father and we are so lucky to have you! [Summer Moon] is such a special little girl which is half due to you! I’d like to take all the credit but I can’t,” the Scheananigans podcast host wrote.
Scheana continued, “You inspire us daily, you’re the hardest worker I know, and I hope that one day we will be a huge blended family with your other two kids. I love you so much honey!”
Brock explained the complexity of the situation during a recent episode of The Valley After Show. He said, “As much as I would love that, it’s a consequence of my actions, and the kids are in a great family environment. So, for me to expect that, or want that, it’s one thing. And it’s up to them when they’re ready. So, I just have to put myself in that position.”
Brock and Scheana took a trip Down Under over the holidays. There was speculation that they would attempt to visit Brock’s children. But in a January 2024 episode of her podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay, the couple revealed that they were not able to meet.
“I wish I could tell everybody, like, ‘Yeah, we’re going, we’re meeting up, we’re doing this,’ but it’s gonna take time,” he said. “We’re dealing with kids … There’s a whole bunch of things changing in their life and I don’t want to be another one in there. I think they have a loving dad, a loving half-sister, and a beautiful family. So, you know, right now that’s not their priority and I understand that.”
