Next Gen NYC features children of Bravo stars, along with some other young go-getters, finding their way in the Big Apple. Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak’s daughter, Ariana Biermann, is part of the cast. Her mother’s messy, exhausting divorce from Kroy Biermann has been … a lot. Now, Ariana is opening up about exactly who “took” the money that she earned. Buckle up.

During the premiere of Next Gen NYC, Ariana made an admission that left my jaw on the floor. “I did reality television with my family, and then I started posting on Instagram,” Ariana explained. While she “made quite a bit of money” working with brands, she lost it. Sort of. “But, unfortunately, my parents took my money,” Ariana said.
Recently, Ariana was a guest on Watch What Happens Live, and she wanted to explain her remarks about her parents. “I would like to very much clarify. Everybody wants this to be just my mother,” Ariana told host Andy Cohen. “This was a joint partnership in taking the money.” She added, “I’m going to be telling my truth and my story, and this is what’s happening.” Of course, Ariana politely gave her parents “notice” that she was outing their bad behavior.
Meanwhile, the rising Bravo star isn’t sure how much money her parents took from her. And she doesn’t “really want to know.” However, when Kim needs financial help, Ariana is there for her. “The only time my mom asks me for money is if it’s regarding the bills or it’s something that she needs for the kids,” said. She noted that her mother will repay her “when she can.”
Plus, Kim and Ariana were able to make amends after the money debacle. “Nobody wants to be put in situations that they are put into,” Ariana said. “My mom, no matter what, will be my best friend forever.” She added, “Money should never ruin a relationship with your family.”
It seems like financial stress has already taken a toll on this family. Hopefully, Kim and Kroy can improve their situation.
