Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice made it clear that she didn’t want a relationship with her brother, Joe Gorga, or his wife, Melissa Gorga. In fact, she cut ties with them at the Season 13 RHONJ reunion. However, as casting seems to be moving forward on Season 15, Teresa had a change of heart. And her friend and co-star, Dolores Catania, is weighing in.
Season 14 of the franchise was divisive and dark, with Teresa and Melissa refusing to film together. However, Teresa recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live and cracked open the door for a reconciliation.
Dolores Catania called Teresa Giudice’s latest move “huge news”
During a recent episode of the podcast The Two Ts in a Pod, Dolores reacted to Teresa’s sudden willingness to make amends with Melissa and Joe. “I am going to have to listen to that before I can get into this conversation,” Dolores told co-host Tamra Judge. “So Gia [Giudice] and Teresa were very open to making up with Zio Joe and Zia Melissa? Honestly, this is all very big news to me, huge news, and I’d really like to listen.”
However, Dolores did share that she was on board with this development. “So, I’m glad to hear this, and I hope it’s true,” she added. Of course, there were rumors that Teresa was not part of the test filming. Reportedly, Dolores, Melissa, and Margaret Josephs filmed with possible newbies. Of course, this sudden decision to make amends with her brother and sister-in-law could be to secure her spot in the cast.
Even Melissa found the timing … interesting. “I’ve heard this obviously, but she has said for the last year, if not more than a year, the door is closed,” Melissa previously said. “So the fact that the door is now open seems like strange timing to me.” Well, if timing is everything, then Teresa must be trying to save her job.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
