Welcome to The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 Episode 13 recap. Last time, Jenn realized that her upcoming wedding to Ryan Boyajian was having an unintended impact on her kids. Plus, Emily spilled the beans to Tamra about the affair rumor. And Gretchen and Tamra were involved in a vicious argument. Now here’s what happened in RHOC Season 19 Episode 13: “Not So Funfetti.”
What happened in Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 Episode 13?
After receiving a diagnosis for their son Luke, Emily and her husband, Shane Simpson, found themselves on better footing. Plus, Tamra hosted a Spring Fling party, which turned into a bitter argument between Tamra and Heather. Plus, Tamra showed some receipts about Jenn’s recent social media activity.
Gretchen isn’t invited to Tamra’s Spring Fling
Jenn and Gretchen met up, and Gretchen claimed that Emily and Heather “were salivating at the mouth” to hear the recording of Tamra. Meanwhile, Jenn was upset that Gretchen wasn’t going to Tamra’s party. Cue the flashback of Tamra storming back into the dinner the previous night and announcing that she was having a Spring Fling party. “You’re all invited, except for you, b*tch, because you can’t change,” Tamra said to Gretchen. “Wear your florals!”
In addition, Tamra shared in her confessional that after the disastrous Temecula trip, Shannon sent Tamra a text message. “I’m sure Teddi [Mellencamp] is inundated, but I just wanted to send this to you. Think about her every day,” Shannon wrote. Tamra explained that she also forwarded some “treatment programs for cancer.” Since Tamra felt this could be an “olive branch” from Shannon, she refused to give up on fixing their friendship.
Finally, Tamra told her husband, Eddie Judge, that Gretchen gossiped about Tamra sleeping with a singer. According to the boy bander’s wife, Jenn started following him on social media. Then Tamra remarked that Jenn’s fiancé, Ryan, “dresses like a 1990s boy band.” Mic drop!
Plus, Tamra was angry with Heather for her involvement in this fiasco. Cue the flashback of Heather following Tamra outside the previous night. “Did you stick up for me?” Tamra asked. “Listen to me. I said, ‘This is gross. I don’t want to hear about it,’” Heather explained, which was true. However, Tamra felt that Heather tries to be Switzerland amid the RHOC friend group.
Meanwhile, Heather and Shannon took part in an art class. When Shannon shared that the group was making fun of Heather taking improv classes, she was disappointed. “It’s really hurtful if you’re not supporting me,” Fancy Pants said in her confessional.
Emily and Shane get a diagnosis for their son on Real Housewives of Orange County
Both Emily and Shane agreed that Luke is doing a bit better. Finally, they have a diagnosis for Luke. In her confessional, Emily explained, “Luke’s diagnosis was very complicated. He has anxiety and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), and he has a learning disability. And he has dyslexia, and he needs all these things.” Emily is wondering if she missed the signs that her son was struggling. After therapy, Shane changed his approach to parenting Luke and is giving him more validation and praise. According to Emily, this change “really alleviated a lot of stress in our life.”
At Tamra’s Spring Fling, Emily spilled that she, Gretchen, and Heather played a game at the sleepover. One of the questions was, “Who do you trust the least?” Then she revealed that Heather picked Tamra. I guess Emily is trying to keep her orange for next season.
“And I said you,” Emily added. “My fear is, if I share things with you that were really personal and you got mad at me, in some circumstance, that you would go look something up.” Tamra responded, “That hurts my feelings. I am f*cking loyal to a fault.”
So, Tamra stormed upstairs because she was hurt, leaving Emily alone with the cake decorator. Later on, Tamra dashed millennial Gina’s hopes that she did sleep with the boy bander. However, Tamra told the duo that his wife sent her a screenshot showing that Jenn followed him. “Does she want dirt? Or does she want tickets?” Emily remarked. “Because that’s not appropriate.”
Emily is furious that Tamra is talking to Katie
Once everyone arrived, the ladies discussed Gretchen. Tamra tried to shove Heather under the bus by claiming that Heather said that Gretchen “believes her lies.”
“When she speaks, she believes what she is saying,” Heather explained. When Emily mentioned how Katie lies, Tamra told the RHOC ladies that she is going to meet with her. “Something in my gut is telling me that Gretchen 100 percent told Katie that I drugged her, and she had to go to the hospital,” Tamra said in her confessional. And Tamra wants any receipts that Katie may have.
Emily was furious and slammed Tamra for wanting to meet with Katie after she hurt everyone in the group. She claimed that Tamra will believe Katie “because it works for your narrative against Gretchen.” Tamra left and went into the kitchen to start the cake decorating festivities.
When Heather entered, Tamra said, “This will be the last time I ever film after what you f*cking did to me.” Then she explained how Emily reported that Heather didn’t trust Tamra. Welp, Heather was upset with Tamra, too. She said that Tamra “blew me off in New Orleans” and “you were sh*t-talking my career again.”
So, Gina was summoned to the kitchen, and Heather asked what was said about her comedic work with The Groundlings. “I didn’t know you were a comedian, Heather,” Gina said. Then Gina called out Heather for having rules for her friendship with her, but no rules for Tamra. Finally, Heather and Gina sat down to hash out their differences. “Do you know I did stand up?” Heather asked. She explained how intimidating it was to return to work after raising her family. “I support you in everything you do, and I am proud of you,” Gina replied.
Did Tamra quit RHOC again?
After the cakes were decorated, Tamra dropped the bomb that Jenn started following Tamra’s rumored boy band lover. And she had the screenshots from his wife to prove it. “Why did you start following him?” Tamra asked. “Because you guys have a situation going on, and I heard about it,” Jennifer explained.
However, Jenn admitted in her confessional that she followed him, hoping that he would reach out with some information. Shady! Still, Jenn wasn’t out of the hot seat. Shannon, Heather, and Gina wanted to know why she followed the pop singer, and her explanation didn’t make sense.
When Heather went to check on Tamra, she became emotional. Tamra was so hurt that Heather doesn’t trust her that she no longer wants “to be in this group anymore.” Heather said in her confessional, “The problem is, I tell Tamra my feelings, and she gets angry.” Tamra stated, “Heather, you don’t like me. You proved it over and over again.” She added, “And I’ve only been nothing but f*cking nice to you.”
Then Tamra brought up the trust issue again with Heather. “I am dealing with the most f*cking difficult thing in my life right now, and you are not helping!” Tamra exclaimed. When Heather suggested talking about it another time, Tamra responded, “Sure. Have a great season. I’m done.”
The ladies were fuming that Tamra was quitting again and blaming it on them. So much for all the progress that Tamra made with the group!
