Vanderpump Rules alums Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz recently sparked romance rumors. However, once upon a time, Lala was furious that Tom was friends with her ex, Randall Emmett. And Lala was scorched-earth-level angry.
Now, times have changed, and the duo are close friends. Their bond may have been what started the romance chatter. Or, it could have been when Lala publicly announced that she would choose Tom as her Pump Rules sperm donor.
“I have a very soft spot in my heart for you,” Lala told Tom at the time. Awkward! Of course, Lala had some fun with the rumors.

Lala hilariously shared a photo her herself with Tom via her Instagram Stories. She added the words “soft launch,” which caused the internet to lose its mind. However, the mom of two added underneath, “Like so soft it’s not even real, type soft.”
Tom was recently a guest on Lala’s podcast, Untraditionally Lala. And he addressed Lala’s soft launch. “I liked it, [but] I didn’t repost it out of respect for someone I’m dating. But she is in on the joke,” Tom stated, “and she gets it totally.”
Then Lala revealed that she met Tom’s new love interest. “Some would call it a supermodel stunning face,” Lala said. She added, “I felt bad because I had posted that.”
For his part, Tom is thinking about the future and children. “I feel better than I’ve ever felt in my life. I feel healthy, and I’m happy,” Tom explained. “I’m in a good place, but, yeah, I want kids, man. But, I don’t want to be so rigid with timelines and stuff that I deny myself being in the moment and happy.”
Perhaps we will see more of Tom and Lala’s bond in Season 3 of The Valley.
