Reconciliation seems to be the recurring theme for the Real Housewives of New Jersey these days. It turns out that RHONJ star Melissa Gorga didn’t just mend fences with her sister-in-law, she’s also called a truce with former enemy Kim DePaola, too!
Melissa has had some pretty famous feuds with RHONJ castmates. Aside from her famous feuds with Joe Gorga’s sister, Teresa Giudice, Melissa has also had a beef with Kim D. Kim famously found herself involved in stripper-gate and often discussed Kim and Teresa.
Kim D and Melissa Gorga have mended fences
Fans said the former RHONJ friend was stirring up drama in attempts to secure a more permanent spot on the show. But in the end, she just ended up angering both Teresa and Melissa, and the three famously fought for years.
But now, it looks like Teresa is not the only person Melissa has reconnected with in recent months. RadarOnline revealed that Kim said that she and Melissa are now good.
According to Kim, she was so hard on Melissa because Melissa bashed her boutique, Posche, a little bit. “So I knew I went a little bit harder when I had my podcast,” Kim said. “When someone comes at me, I’m an animal. So I went at her hard.”
Kim explained that a friend called her out on her behavior towards Melissa, and it made her think. Then she saw a top at Melissa’s Envy Boutique that she liked, and she bought it.
“Eight days later, I got a really nice text from Melissa thanking me for the support,” Kim shared. “We went back and forth for a bit. We agreed we always secretly liked each other and didn’t know why things went awry.” She said Melissa apologized about Posche, and Kim told her she felt proud that ShopRite carried Melissa’s cookies and products.
Kim also agreed to go to an event Melissa was hosting. She also mentioned she watched Joe and Melissa’s episode of Wife Swap: Real Housewives Edition before the event and was so proud of Joe and shared it on her podcast. He thanked her for her kind words.
By the time Kim went to the event, all was good between her, Melissa, and Joe. “It was sincerely lovely,” she spilled. “Margaret Josephs was there, and we were having a good time. We have been friends for a while, but kept it under wraps as we didn’t want to get any flak for it.”
