Crystal Kung Minkoff held a diamond for three seasons on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. During that time, she feuded with Sutton Stracke and Dorit Kemsley, amongst others. She finally found her voice during Season 13, but it seems that it was not enough to save her job. Meanwhile, her RHOBH co-star Garcelle Beauvais departed following Season 14.
Crystal was open about being let go. When she wasn’t comfortable with the way that production allegedly wanted to present her storyline, the writing was on the wall. Still, it was a shock for Crystal, who was fully invested in shooting Season 14.
Crystal Kung Minkoff and Garcelle Beauvais had an “important” RHOBH moment
During her final season on RHOBH, Crystal’s bond with Garcelle and Sutton was tight. It was great to see the trio displaying a genuine friendship. Meanwhile, Crystal recently discussed an unaired RHOBH scene on her podcast, Humble Brag.
“I had a conversation with Garcelle, and I had it on camera, and they did not air it. It was my last season. I have always felt that I defended her, and yes, I just felt like she threw me under the bus,” Crystal told Cynthia Bailey, her podcast co-host. “I said to her, ‘I cannot move forward in our friendship unless you understand what I went through, and I just don’t really trust you.’”
Crystal added that Garcelle was “really shocked.” The RHOBH alum continued, “She apologized and she said, ‘I had no idea but I’m really sorry I did that to you.’ The audience never saw that, and I think it was really important to.” In addition, Crystal stated that she is in a good place with both Sutton and Garcelle today.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams the following day on Peacock.
