Real Housewives of New Jersey Returns To Test Filming: Details

The Real Housewives of New Jersey hasn’t graced our screens since 2024. Season 14 was divisive, with the cast either supporting Teresa Giudice or Melissa Gorga. Since then, the feuding sisters-in-law have reconciled, but RHONJ remained in the deep freeze.

Meanwhile, rumors circulated that the series wouldn’t be returning at all. A source added fuel to the fire, claiming, “If Bravo had a huge interest in the show’s return, why would they not have jumped on filming Teresa and Joe [Gorga’s] reconciliation?” Thankfully, it sounds like there might be some positive movement, indicating that RHONJ could be back.

Could RHONJ finally return to Bravo in 2026?

Ahead of BravoCon, Andy Cohen shared that there would not be a grand announcement about RHONJ. “We are not going to be backed into something that’s not going to be great because the Jersey fans deserve greatness,” he stated at the time. “And we’re not there yet.”

Recently, an insider told RadarOnline that Bravo is interviewing potential new RHONJ cast members. These discussions are allegedly scheduled to conclude by the end of February. Then, Bravo hopes to “get these new people in front of a camera to see how they perform,” the source stated.

Which former RHONJ cast members could return is still up in the air. “While Jennifer Aydin and Rachel Fuda aren’t in the running, the rest of the cast is. It’s possible they could bring some of them back or all of them back to see how they interact with the potential newbies,” the insider claimed.

The source continued, “Don’t forget they did test filming last year, and it went nowhere.” The insider stated that everything is riding “on the chemistry of the women once they’re in front of cameras.” The source added, “However, this could be a positive sign, because if they like what they see, the show will likely start filming sooner rather than later and finally be back on fans’ screens.” Fingers crossed!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock.
