Welcome to The Valley Season 3 Episode 3 recap. Last time, Lala tried to help Janet and Nia mend their friendship, but the conversation went nowhere. And Schwartz and Michelle spent quality time together. Here’s what went down in The Valley Season 3 Episode 3: “The Santa Clarita Trail.”

What happened in The Valley Season 3 Episode 3?

Brittany introduced her co-stars to her new boyfriend, Brandon Hanson, at Nia and Danny’s housewarming party. Meanwhile, Danny was suspicious of Luke for trying to broker peace between him and Jason. And Jasmine shaded Lala, which didn’t go over well.

Brittany is ready for an “upgrade” in The Valley

Brittany has an appointment to see a plastic surgeon for a consultation, so naturally, she brought along Kristen. It’s been 10 years since her ex, Jax Taylor, paid to have her breast augmentation. She has been thinking for years of “getting a mommy makeover,” and she is eager to “upgrade my life.”

She noted in her confessional, “Everybody’s always like, ‘Jax made you get a bigger size.’ He did, like, encourage me to go bigger than I wanted.” However, Brittany “loved the way my boobs looked back then.” After giving birth to her son, Cruz, her breasts became “so huge,” and Brittany wanted a change. She continued, “This mommy makeover is going to mean a lot to me on many levels. I was talked down to and disrespected for the way my body looks after having my beautiful son.” Our Kentucky Muffin knows this will be a confidence boost for her.

Meanwhile, Luke and Jason met up to discuss the state of Jason’s relationship with Danny. At last season’s reunion, Jason called Danny “a clown.” However, Jason felt as if his wife Janet’s “character was being attacked” and she was “being scapegoated.”

However, Luke responded, “She was not there to witness what happened. She was not an involved party in the incident between Danny and Jasmine.” Luke’s comment didn’t sit well with Jason. “My wife is not a liar,” Jason replied.

“Dude, you got drunk and did idiotic things. You know, I saw his actions last year, and I didn’t like his actions last year,” Jason said in a talking head. However, Jason admitted that he shouldn’t have called Danny names.

Meanwhile, in his confessional, Luke explained that he “didn’t like” how Janet and Jason “treated Danny and Nia last year. But I feel if someone can get through to both sides, it’s me.” Best of luck, Luke! Jason finally said he is open to a conversation with Danny, but stressed that there are certain points that the two sides will never agree on.

Party like it’s Y2K!

The ladies were excited for a much-needed girls’ night. They went to a Y2K-themed bar, and they dressed the part. Since Nia was breastfeeding, she arranged for a party bus, and she brought baby Adelaide and her mom along.

Zack and Benji also attended. When the group rolled up, it was 8 p.m on a Wednesday, and the place was … empty. When Lala arrived, she and Brittany were sporting matching fuzzy pink hats. I could not love this more.

When Jasmine asked Michelle how she and Jesse were doing, Michelle responded, “If we weren’t all part of this friend group, I don’t think it would be the way it is.” Jasmine replied, “I could say that about a lot of people here, though. Like, Lala. Love her, but honestly, like outside of all this and the group, she would not be hanging out with me,” Jasmine added.

Later, Michelle told Lala that Jasmine was talking about her. So, Lala called Jasmine over, and Michelle explained how she mentioned that Jesse “could be a showman.” When Michelle pointed out that Jasmine said other people in the group were also like that, Jasmine denied it.

“I did not say that!” Jasmine exclaimed. “You’re stirring the pot. You started it, Michelle, and I got to calm down?” Jasmine remarked in her confessional. “And now that I’m upset, it’s a problem? She needs to check herself, because I am not the one.”

Finally, Jasmine admitted saying that she and Lala “wouldn’t be friends or hanging out.” Of course, Lala’s feelings were hurt. And Michelle was so drunk she didn’t know they were in Hollywood. She thought they were still in the Valley.

Brittany and Brandon take it to the next level in The Valley

Brittany and Brandon went to dinner. Brittany originally met Brandon back in Kentucky when she worked at Hooters. Brandon now lives in Paso Robles, which is three hours away from Brittany. Since she is going through a divorce, and Brandon is separated, Brittany acknowledged in her confessional, “We got a lot of things that we’re going to have to work through.”

“I do really want you to charm the hell out of Zack tomorrow,” Brittany said. “I’m going to love Zack. Zack’s going to love me. We’re probably going to be best friends,” Brandon replied. “And he’s gonna be like, ‘I can’t believe that I thought you were gonna be a red flag.’”

Over dessert, Brandon asked Brittany to be his girlfriend. “Are you sure we’re not moving too fast?” she asked. “I think it would be very appropriate if we were exclusively dating and I could call you my girlfriend,” Brandon replied. “Let’s do it,” Brittany said as they downed a shot.

The gang heads to Santa Clarita

Danny and Nia’s housewarming party’s theme is “a new frontier.” During the road trip, Lala brought up Jasmine. “I’ve heard that she’ll, like, be cool to your face, and then say things behind your back,” Lala commented. “And then will, like, pretend to not remember these things.” However, Brandon defended Jasmine, which struck Lala as odd. “Jasmine seems very, very nice and she’s always like very upbeat and happy when she’s around me,” he said. “Maybe she came off the wrong way.”

“Well, she put it on me,” Michelle said, and Brandon acknowledged that Jasmine needed to “own up” to her mistakes. Finally, the group arrived! The cast wasn’t impressed by living so far away from everything. Then, Brittany introduced Brandon and Zac. Of course, Brandon came armed with a shot. So, Brittany left them alone to hash out Zack’s issues. Awkward!

“I want you to know, I’m very protective. Not even if there was red flags, so much as …,” Zack said, before Brandon interrupted. “Well, there are. I do have three kids,” he explained. “I do have an ex.” Zack chimed in, “And two baby mamas.” Oof.

Brandon said, “You know, I have Brittany’s best interests in mind. I did ask her out last night,” he added. “So, she is my girlfriend now.” Zack’s mouth dropped open as Brandon giggled.

“One of Brittany’s biggest weaknesses is that she’s very susceptible to being love-bombed by men. And I want her to stop opening her heart and just open her legs, because it’s a lot more fun that way,” Zack said in his talking head. In the end, Zack urged Brandon to take it slow, and Brandon understood why Zack was afraid of Brittany being manipulated.

Eventually, Luke told Danny that he spoke to Jason. Both Luke and Danny agreed that Jason should have texted Danny. “They have had a year to do this,” Danny stated.

“Tomorrow night, I’d like to have my friends together,” Luke said. So, Danny asked, “Is he your friend? If he had done to you what he did to me, he would not be my friend.” The salty cowboy added, “Let me think about it.”

Meanwhile, Jasmine told Lacy and Brandon how Michelle called Jesse “a showman.” Jasmine added, “I know they were talking about it in the car.” Brandon responded, “Lala was kind of taken aback by it.” Why is Brandon deep in the drama? Then, he confirmed that Michelle called Jasmine “fake.”

Naturally, Jasmine told everyone that Brandon shared how Michelle called her “fake.” Of course, Michelle denied it. “Wait, Brandon said that?” Brittany asked. “Alluding to that,” Jasmine backtracked.

After this bombshell, Brittany had deja vu. “I know that Brandon is a social butterfly, but he is social butterflying a little too much. Like, you do not tell my friends what another friend just said,” Brittany said in her confessional. “Jax loved to stir the pot, gossip.”

So, Brittany brought Brandon over to the group to clarify the situation. ‘I’m not talking sh*t about you,” Michelle told Jasmine. “I have strangers telling me that you were!” Jasmine fired back.

So, Lala explained that she wanted to know if she needed to worry about Jasmine talking behind her back. When Lala explained that Michelle was being “protective of me,” Brandon added, “That’s how I took it.” Jasmine immediately called him out, saying, “You’re the one who said she was talking sh*t about me.” Finally, Brittany told her new boyfriend to stay out of her friends’ business.

The Valley airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Episodes will stream on Peacock.
