During Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, star Erika Jayne opened up like never before. She feuded with her longtime friend, Dorit Kemsley. And she reflected on some not-so-pretty times during her marriage to her estranged husband, Tom Girardi.
Meanwhile, Erika shocked some fans with her reaction to Tom’s prison sentence. As you may recall, Tom was sentenced to seven years and three months in jail for stealing over $15 million from his legal clients. “I just kind of hoped he’d die before he’d go to prison, just so he could get it over with,” she previously admitted.

In addition, Erika is now headed to trial in a civil case brought by the trustee in charge of the bankruptcy of Tom’s former law firm, Girardi Keese. The trustee alleges that $25 million was transferred from the company to fund Erika’s luxe lifestyle.
During the RHOBH Season 15 Reunion Part 1, host Andy Cohen asked Erika about her marriage to Tom. “Do you think he was emotionally abusive to you?” Andy asked. “Yeah. And financially abusive,” Erika stated. “And, you know, Tom one time did not talk to me for six weeks.” Her co-stars were stunned. She added, “You know, as sweet as Tom could be, is as vicious as Tom could be.”
Erika admitted that she was also anxious about filming RHOBH with Tom. “Oh, f*ck yes,” she said. “What if I said the wrong thing?”
Meanwhile, while Erika has no plans to visit Tom, Andy asked Erika what one question she would ask him. “Why? Why did you throw me out like that?” Erika remarked. “You know, ’cause I’m in an almost impossible situation. I’m swimming under all of these lawsuits.”
