Teddi Mellencamp is sharing all aspects of her life amid her ongoing battle against cancer. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has been fighting strong since being diagnosed with stage II melanoma in 2022.
Thankfully, Teddi turned a corner in October 2025 when she announced scans showed “no detectable cancer.” She’s admitted to feeling better recently. So perhaps that confirmation gave her a little space to consider less dire aspects of life. Like appearance and weight loss. And just feeling like herself again.
The former RHOBH star said she’s “a health and wellness coach who’s dying of cancer”
“I am a health and wellness coach who’s dying of cancer,” Teddi joked while recording the April 22 episode of her Two T’s in a Pod podcast. She lamented the state of her physical frame as a result of the ongoing treatment for stage IV cancer.
“And because I gained weight from the steroids [from my treatment], because I’m getting bigger from the steroids, I asked my doctor if I could please have GLP-1s. And he was like, ‘No!’” she explained.
To guest co-host Dolores Catania, she lamented, “Let me live!”
The RHOBH alum founded an accountability coaching service called All In by Teddi. She loves working out, and is an avid horse rider. However, Teddi had to slow down a bit because of her cancer battle. Two months ago, the podcast host celebrated her “cancerversary.”
As for her recent doctor’s appointment, she recalled thinking, to “live my best life, but I don’t even get [the meds I want]. Live your best life? Where are my GLP-1s?”
Dolores suggested to go elsewhere for the meds. She said, “I’m so sorry someone told you no. But I don’t know that I’d listen!” The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star offered Teddi to “start with me.” She was due to take a dose the following day.
“I think maybe someone’s lying,” Dolores pondered. “I don’t think you’re dying. Because [if you were dying,] he would’ve said, ‘Oh, if that’s what you want, sure! Take that, go do some coke, go snort whatever you want!’”
