Garcelle Beauvais just landed herself a new project in the form of a murder mystery series on Peacock. Who needs The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Not Garcelle. Here are the details.
Leo Richardson and Garcelle Beauvais serve as executive producers on Keep Your Friends Close
As Variety reported, Peacock is currently developing a new murder mystery series titled “Keep Your Friends Close.” This series is based on a book with the same name, written by Lucinda Berry. So, how does Garcell tie into this project? Well, this RHOBH alum, alongside writer Leo Richardson and FilmNation, is executive producing this series, just as she has done for several other projects in recent years.
The plot for this series will likely keep audiences on their toes. As the summary teases, “When the president of the West Hollywood Moms Club is found murdered, all of her friends and members become key suspects. A jaded detective uses every trick he knows to outsmart the killer.”
Online, Garcelle shared a cover image featuring her and Leo, writing, “Something exciting is brewing!” She feels “So thrilled to share that we are executive producing a New Murder Mystery Series with @peacock called Keep Your Friends Close. Grateful to be partnering with such an incredible team,” she added, tagging the main players involved in this project.
Many Bravo stars are in her comments, eagerly congratulating Garcelle on this gig. However, as of now, none of her former RHOBH costars have chimed in. Regardless, as one of her followers stressed, “While RHOBH is sinking, Garcelle is booked and busy lol.”
Following this Peacock project, Garcelle will reprise her role as Natasha in the final season of “Survival of the Thickest” on Netflix. Her star is shining bright, and fans love that for Garcelle.
