Jennifer Tilly has Kathy Hilton’s back. The duo brought some much-needed humor to Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While both ladies had roles as friends of the cast, they made a big impact. And Jennifer recently defended Kathy after she lost her role in a WeHo Pride event.
The RHOBH star took to social media to say she “stands with” Kathy Hilton
Kathy reportedly lost her role as the Grand Marshal of the festivities on June 7. Allegedly, her participation in the event sparked backlash from citizens. In the end, the city of West Hollywood’s statement noted “thoughtful feedback” from residents about the Pride event.
However, rumors have been swirling that Kathy allegedly uttered a gay slur during the RHOBH Season 12 cast trip to Aspen. According to an insider, “Erika [Jayne] alleges that Kathy made a harsh slur against an employee off-camera.” However, Kathy denied the accusations. In addition, Kathy’s reported ties to President Donald Trump could have been a factor in her removal.
Still, Jennifer shared her feelings via an Instagram post, which featured a photo of the ladies embracing. “I stand with Kathy. Nobody works harder and more tirelessly to give back to the community than @kathyhilton,” Jennifer wrote in the caption.
“She has repeatedly opened her home, her heart, and her pocketbook for LGBTQ+ causes. I’ve attended GLAAD award parties at her house, her annual Children’s hospital event at the Abbey, and she has been a longtime supporter of @projectangelfood. Kathy is an alley and an advocate,” the actress added.
Meanwhile, many RHOBH fans are hoping to see Jennifer in a more prominent role next season. From eating a Tums off the floor at a book signing to becoming trapped in a glass elevator in Italy, she made viewers laugh. Add in her wild fashion and quirky personality, and you have the makings of a stellar housewife.
