Margaret Josephs is officially out of The Real Housewives of New Jersey … but fans will be able to keep up with her on a fresh reality show.
In an interview this week, Margaret opened up about the new Amazon Prime Video show she’s set to appear in. She said the show will be a mix of The White Lotus and Perfect Strangers with reality TV stars. Interesting…
The Marge says “people think I’m a b*tch”
While chatting on Page Six Radio, Margaret teased her new reality show, called Reality Retreat.
“It’s so different from anything I’ve ever done,” she said. “It’s like The White Lotus, Perfect Strangers, and Eat, Pray, Love meets reality stars.”
As for the cast, Margaret said it’s made up of different women of all ages. So, who exactly is that? Fellow Real Housewives alumni Kenya Moore and Kim Zolciak are slated to appear, as well as The Valley’s Brittany Cartwright and Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn. Singer Tamar Braxton, of Braxton Family Values, is also on the cast list, in addition to a few former Bachelorettes.
Speaking about the cast, Margaret said the show has been a great way for the women to show a different side to themselves. “People think, for lack of a better word, that I’m a b*tch,” she said as an example. But, despite having a reputation for being “direct,” Margaret said she’s been able to show a more nurturing side to her personality on Reality Retreat.
Overall, Margaret said viewers can expect to see a “softer” side to many of the cast members, especially those who have been branded as “nasty” in the press. “You know, you can’t judge a book by its cover,” she said. “I think people will see there’s layers in everybody.”
Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock.
