While it feels like Love Island USA Season 8 started only yesterday, the finale is approaching fast. Meaning viewers won’t have to wait long to vote for their favorite couple to win the $100K grand prize. And, unlike last season, almost all of the remaining couples are solid. After a rocky start to the season, a thrilling Casa Amor, and a shocking Movie Night, six couples remain in the villa. Viewers already chose their top four, so the finalists will be announced soon. But which couple has the best chance of winning Love Island USA Season 8, and why? Read on below to see our picks, and share your predictions in the comments.
Trinity and Bryce are the clear favorites to win Love Island USA Season 8
Trinity Tatum and Bryce Alakai Dettloff, aka “Brinity,” are the current front runners to win Love Island USA Season 8. After coupling up on Day 1, they originally explored and were coupled back together by default. But the extent of their feelings for each other came out during Casa Amor. Bryce was the first Love Island USA male contestant to be miserable at Casa. Trinity kissed a Casa bombshell the first night, but it made her realize she only wanted Bryce.
After Casa, the two received Season 8’s first date so far, where Bryce asked Trinity to be his girlfriend. This made them the first official couple in the villa. Their season-long “friends to lovers” arc is straight out of a rom-com.
However, some question if Trinity and Bryce peaked too soon. Since becoming official, they’ve moved to supporting roles, as the rest of the couples are far more dramatic. But the glimpses we get of Brinity are still incredibly adorable. They beam talking about the outside world together, and they’re always cuddling in the background.
Social media also indicates that they’re the favorites. Trinity was the first Season 8 star to hit one million followers on Instagram. And Bryce became a meme after looking miserable throughout Casa. The Season 8 win is Brinity’s to lose!
Aniya and Carl are Love Island USA fan (and maybe host) favorites
While Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt are a more recent couple than Trinity and Bryce, they had quite the story on Love Island USA Season 8. Viewers at home were begging Aniya to recouple with Carl at Casa Amor. However, she chose to stay loyal to KC Chandler, who recoupled with Tierra “Titi” Davis. As Aniya broke down, Carl whispered “It’s okay Aniya,” tears in his eyes. What a sweetheart!
Thankfully, producers bent the rules and brought him back. They’ve been a wonderful fan favorite couple ever since. As Trinity and Bryce moved to the background, Aniya and Carl become the new main characters.
Aniya and Carl also appear to be favorites of host Ariana Madix. The Emmy nominee looked overjoyed when the two finally coupled up in the last week. Ariana herself admitted she does have favorites even though she’s not supposed to. And that she doesn’t do a great job of hiding it.
Melanie and Sincere could win despite their rocky Love Island journey
Somehow, despite being the most toxic couple in the villa, Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea could win Love Island USA Season 8. It wouldn’t be the first time a toxic duo won Love Island! But they’re OGs, and have been safe every public vote, putting odds in their favor.
Melanie and Sincere had a very rocky villa journey. Such as when he was paired with Sol Dean and lied to Melanie about the depth of their connection. He also got very intimate with Amora Robinson in Casa, where he admitted to forgetting what Melanie looked like!
Despite watching extended Movie Night footage of Sincere not living up to his name, the other Islanders insist he’s perfect for Melanie. Social media shows that many viewers agree, but do “Melcere” have the numbers to win? Melanie is a fan favorite, but is that enough to take her couple to the top?
As for the remaining couples, I think KC and Titi have the best shot of making the final four. The recently official couple have strong chemistry. However, KC’s actions towards Aniya, and certain things from Titi’s past, could make viewers hesitant to vote for them.
And it would be shocking if Kayda Reese Bosse and Zach Georgiou or Kenzie Annis and Dylan Wrona won. Kenzie and Dylan only saved themselves from elimination by winning the karaoke challenge. Meanwhile, Kayda and Zach’s poor reaction to being in the bottom after the last public vote didn’t turn things in their favor. Neither did Zach’s hesitancy to make things official. However, stranger things have happened on Love Island USA!
