Whitney Rose spoke openly about her recent business failure. It’s been a topic of discussion all season on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. But what she hasn’t touched on yet is how it’s affected her marriage to Justin Rose.
Of course, one can assume it’s been difficult for the couple. Whitney admitted to investing all their savings into the company. But this is not the first time that they’ve weathered financial hardship. In RHOSLC Season Two, Justin lost his job due to some on-screen antics. Hopefully the duo will come out of this once again.

The couple filmed a difficult conversation about the venture failure. And it seems like Whitney has some resentment for her husband and low-key blames him. Thankfully, their marriage seems to be doing better in real-time.
“I just saw a large transfer from our bank account to one of our vendors. That hurt,” Whitney said.
He responded, “I just feel like we have to make things right with the people that we owe money to.”
Whitney continued, “It just sucks because my intuition going into this knew not to do it and I didn’t listen.” She also claimed that she was not “being told the truth.”
In a confessional interview, Whitney explained what she was trying to accomplish with the company. And what she is trying to salvage. She said, “We took Wild Rose Beauty and we merged it into a new entity. Unfortunately, I made a really bad decision. And right now I’m fighting to get out of ownership of this company. I’m fighting to get my name off of it. To remove me as an owner and to get back my biggest asset, which is my Wild Rose Beauty name, brand, and inventory.”
Back on the porch, Whitney said her “vision” was to “get you away from MLM” and “go to Sephora and Ulta and Target.” However, when her business partners “flashed numbers” in front of her, she felt that she “had no other choice.”
Whitney wanted Justin to be more involved with the company. And she feels like he stepped in wanting to do things his way. She explained, “It’s the first time you were like ‘Ok let’s make this a billion dollar company.'” His enthusiasm and experience “ultimately” had her saying “yes.”
It was then that Whitney revealed that she’s “trying not to resent” him. She tearfully added, “It’s hard to separate you from that.” Her final words were, “This was my everything, now it’s gone.”
