During Season 15, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Denise Richards is set to return. Hopefully, she will shake up the season, because we need some drama. Meanwhile, Denise allegedly made a demand to Bravo, ensuring that her former RHOBH co-star, Lisa Rinna, would not come back.
Of course, Denise will most likely spill some tea about her messy divorce from Aaron Phypers. This split will go down as one of the most contentious in Bravo history. And that’s saying something! Of course, Denise held a diamond in Seasons 9 and 10 before exiting the show. However, she returned as a guest in RHOBH Season 13.
Denise Richards allegedly refuses to film RHOBH with Lisa Rinna
Denise left the show after her blow-out feud with Lisa over allegations that Denise had an affair with Brandi Glanville. According to Denise, these accusations were false. “I had a 20-year friendship with her, and to see how she could sacrifice a friendship of 20 years for a show that isn’t gonna last forever – obviously, she isn’t on it anymore – like, at what cost?” Denise previously said of Lisa.
However, reports have surfaced that Denise issued an ultimatum to Bravo before returning to RHOBH. “Denise doesn’t care how much Bravo throws at her – diamonds, cameras, whatever. If Rinna’s there, she walks,” an insider told RadarOnline. Another source claimed, “This was about sanity, self-respect, and controlling her own narrative. She’s done being anyone’s sidekick or someone else’s storyline.”
Another source stated that Denise would not waver on her conditions. “She drew the boundary, and they respected it. There was no back-and-forth,” the source reported. “This was her hill.” Plus, a network insider alleged, “Denise chose her terms – and Bravo chose Denise.” Meanwhile, a rep for Bravo claimed that “there is absolutely no truth to this.”
For her part, Lisa later admitted to her poor behavior. “I don’t like my behavior and how I treated her,” Lisa admitted previously. “I was mean, and I was cruel.” I guess we won’t see Denise and Lisa back together on RHOBH anytime soon.
