Another lawsuit just hit the Bravosphere. This time, the defendant is none other than Kathy Hilton from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Apparently, one of her past houseguests tripped and fell while traversing her property. As a result, this plaintiff allegedly suffered longstanding injuries, so she is now suing Kathy for negligence.
Kathy Hilton is being taken to court over alleged serious leg injuries
According to TMZ, on August 25, 2024, a woman named Kimberly Heffington visited Kathy’s 7-bedroom, 8-bathroom, 15,000-square-foot manse in Bel-Air. In their search efforts, TMZ discovered that Kathy held an estate sale around this time, aimed at raising money for charity. But while Kimberly was on the property of Kathy’s $28 million mansion, she fell. As a result, Kimberly reportedly suffered permanent injuries, for which she now needs compensation to help her deal with.
In her filing, Kimberly claimed that, while walking, her foot got caught in between a patch of uneven pavement, which resulted in her tripping and falling. She “landed violently on the ground, causing her to suffer severe and permanent injuries, including but not limited to a complex medial meniscus tear to her right knee.” Since Kathy failed to mark the area with traffic cones or safety signs to warn her visitors of this uneven patch of pavement, Kimberly initiated a lawsuit, pointing out Kathy’s negligence.
Kimberly further alleged that some of her injuries are permanent. Therefore, she is seeking reimbursement for her past, present, and future medical bills. She is also seeking additional, unspecified damages. At this point, Kathy has yet to respond to Kimberly’s lawsuit. But when she does, we will keep you updated with her response.
