The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills added a sparkling newbie for Season 15. Fashionista Rachel Zoe came aboard to shake up the cast. Meanwhile, all this poor woman wanted was a Hot Girl Summer, and Dorit Kemsley was all in.
Rachel filed for divorce from her longtime husband, Rodger Berman, in July 2025. The couple, who share two sons, had been separated for a while. “At the end of the day, I can’t change someone else,” Rachel previously explained in an episode of RHOBH. “And, ultimately, he didn’t want to be the person that I was with for the first 25 f*cking years of our relationship.”
Rachel Zoe’s first call was to Jennifer Garner
Recently, Rachel was a guest on The Inside Edit with Maeve Reilly podcast. Of course, Rachel discussed her split with Rodger. So, who was her first call to find a divorce attorney? Rachel called actress Jennifer Garner. When Jennifer asked Rachel why she needed a name, Rachel explained, “And I just was like, ‘More … more later.’”
Jennifer advised her to contact Laura Wasser. In fact, Laura represented Jennifer in her divorce from Ben Affleck. Jennifer and Ben split in 2015. Yet, the former couple has an amicable divorce and often spend time together as a family with their three children.
According to Rachel, Jennifer said, “’You must be so exhausted.'” The RHOBH newbie added, “And I really was so exhausted.” During an episode of RHOBH, Rachel revealed that Rodger introduced his girlfriend to their sons. This broke an agreement between the pair and allegedly led to her filing for divorce.
While their divorce is not yet final, it seems that the former couple is in a better place these days. Rachel previously said that she and Rodger were staying amicable “because ultimately we want what’s best for the kids, right?”
