It seems that everyone has something to say about the latest Summer House scandal. Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed their once-secret romance. And while the Bravo-verse is still quaking, Real Housewives of New York alum Dorinda Medley is weighing in on the drama.
This romance is difficult to understand, since Amanda is going through a divorce with co-star Kyle Cooke. Meanwhile, Amanda’s former bestie, Ciara Miller, once dated West. In an interview before confirming her new romance, Amanda praised Ciara for supporting her. “She is one of the kindest, most loving, loyal friends I’ve ever had,” Amanda previously admitted. Oof.

Of course, once the news broke of West and Amanda’s romance, Ciara promptly unfollowed the duo on social media. Well, Dorinda and her co-host, Kiki Monique, shared their feelings on SiriusXM’s Reality Checked. “Amanda’s been with Ciara since she was a young, young girl. That’s a sisterhood. That’s a deep bond,” Dorinda stated. “I mean … I remember thinking a couple weeks ago when I saw her wearing this Alexander Wang outfit, Amanda, in a photo shoot, and thinking she really is in a great place. She is going to be another Paige DeSorbo. She gave it all away for this.”
In another clip from the show posted via Instagram, Kiki discussed the joint statement from Amanda and West. “We’re in a world where you just posted a joint statement with your soon-to-be ex-husband,” Kiki said. “Now you’re posting a joint statement with your friend’s guy that she was dating.” Dorinda chimed in, “Best friends. Ride or die.”
Kiki said, “I mean, I’m sorry, Amanda Batula is officially dead in my book.” Ouch! “I said from hero to zero,” Dorinda stated. “Absolute zero,” Kiki added.
Meanwhile, Amanda is starting to feel the backlash. She was collaborating with the weed and fashion company Edie Parker. After the news broke, the brand scrapped that campaign, using another model instead of Amanda.
