The Season 3 premiere of The Valley didn’t skimp on drama. New cast members Tom Schwartz and Lala Kent had a fair amount of time in the spotlight. And fans are looking at a new and improved Tom.
In his first confessional, Tom shared that his life fell apart after his bar with Tom Sandoval closed. “Oh, man. My life kind of fell apart at the seams,” he explained. “Divorced, just hemorrhaging money.” However, now Tom has his “sparkle” back and is in a positive place. In fact, during Kristen Doute and Nia Sanchez’s Sip n’ See party, Tom was getting flirty.
Schwartz seemingly has his eye on Michelle Saniei
For Tom, joining The Valley was a fresh start after the chaos of Vanderpump Rules. During Season 3 Episode 1, Tom chatted with Michelle Saniei during the party. “So, wait, Michelle. Have you ever seen How Stella Got Her Groove Back?” Tom asked. She replied that she hadn’t seen the movie. I think that Tom was referring to Michelle’s divorce from Jesse Lally, which was dragged on during filming. Tom continued, “Not that your groove isn’t back, but you’re gorgeous.”
He added, “I think we’re on similar journeys. I’m trying to live. I’m trying to laugh.” Next, the topic of conversation turned to love. “I still believe in love,” Tom said. “I believe in love, too,” Michelle replied. He commented, “You do? That’s sweet as hell.” There is some sort of spark between this duo, even if Tom’s banter is a bit awkward.
When asked about his “type,” Tom said that for him, it’s “a chemistry thing.” Finally, Michelle said, “We’ll do something … anything spiritual.” Meanwhile, Brittany Cartright, Jasmine Goode, and Kristen watched the couple flirting. While Jasmine and Brittany were here for it, Kristen wasn’t impressed. In her confessional, she noted, “Michelle is a fine French wine. Tom’s a Jagerbomb at a sports bar.”
The Valley airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Episodes will stream on Peacock.
