Meghan Markle and Prince Harry haven’t filed to trademark kids’ names, report says
Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, have reportedly not applied to trademark the names of their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. A new report by PEOPLE magazine claimed that, despite reports to the contrary, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not taken any steps to trademark their son’s and daughter’s names.
In the meantime, Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, recently unveiled its new Mother’s Day collection, featuring signature candles that pay tribute to the couple’s two children. One of the candles in the collection is Signature Candle No. 506. It has been inspired by Prince Archie’s birth date, May 6. In the meantime, another candle in the new Mother’s Day collection of As Ever is Signature Candle No. 604. This one pays homage to the couple’s daughter, Princess Lilibet, whose birth date is June 4.
Meanwhile, in the official line of succession to the British throne, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children are listed as “Princess Lilibet of Sussex” and “Prince Archie of Sussex.” However, the official website of As Ever did not mention these royal titles while introducing the two candles. The description for Signature Candle No. 604 reads, “to honor her daughter Lilibet’s birthdate of June 4th.” In the meantime, the description for Signature Candle No. 506 reads, “inspired by her son Archie’s birthdate of May 6th.” Per the description, Markle crafted and curated both the candles.
