The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has spawned its first spinoff. The new series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, has a familial connection to Mayci Neeley. Her sister, McCall DaPron, is part of the new cast.
Naturally, Mayci has some advice to share after four seasons on SLOMW. That series has featured tons of drama, including cheating scandals, divorces, and friendship breakups. So, what does Mayci want McCall to remember as she begins her reality TV journey?
What were Mayci’s words of wisdom to her sister?
The new series will feature podcaster Bobbi Althoff, along with FishFam YouTube star Madison Bontempo. In addition, influencers Avery Woods, Salomé Andrea, and Aspyn Ovard are also in the mix. And newbies McCall, Ashleigh Pease, and Chandler Higginson round out the cast.
In a TikTok, Mayci opened up about her sister. She also revealed that their eldest sister “was not interested” in being part of the new series. Meanwhile, Mayci said that McCall “definitely gives middle child energy.”
She added, “A lot of people think that me and McCall are twins. We look very similar.” Mayci continued, “My family has always been known as like the ‘cool Mormons.’ We’re a lot more chill.”
As for advice? Mayci told her McCall to “stay neutral” and not jump to one side too quickly. “Hear the whole story before you form an opinion,” Mayci said. Of course, Mayci is known for maintaining a neutral stance until she gets all the details.
“Remember, you can say no,” the memoir author stated. “Most importantly, just be yourself. That’s all that really matters at the end of the day.”
However, Mayci did have a warning for fans who aren’t kind on social media. “If you come for me and you’re a hater, fine. You come for my sister, you come for my family, that is where I will pop off,” she stated.
Meanwhile, filming is set to resume for SLOMW Season 5, so start perfecting your dirty soda recipes.
