Tom Schwartz is not a green reality TV star. Even still, ahead of his recent debut on The Valley, he received a text from Kristen Doute, filled with notes for his return to filming. As fans know, Tom and Kristen starred alongside each other on Vanderpump Rules for well over a decade. So, what did Kristen feel like she still needed to advise Tom on? Here’s what her text said.
Schwartz shows his love for “best girl” Doute
In 2013, fans met Kristen, a full-time VPR star. We also met Tom, a frequent visitor until Season 3, where he finally secured a full-time role. For years, Kristen and Tom shared the same friend group. Yet, they often butted heads, especially during the seasons where Kristen was fighting with Katie Maloney, Tom’s then-wife.
But, as life goes, these two Pump’ers moved on. And now, they are solid friends again, as seen on Season 3, otherwise known as Tom’s first season of The Valley. Speaking of their longstanding friendship, on a recent episode of the After Show, Tom revealed that “Kristen gave me some notes, actually.” He then pulled out his phone to read aloud his receipts.
“What did she send me?” Tom asked. Well, “She’s like, ‘Schwartz, don’t be passive!'” She also cheekily suggested that Tom needed to say, “Doute is my best girl since 2010.” Laughing, Tom stressed, “That’s a fact. I love Doute.”
Furthermore, Tom read, Kristen added another note, asking Tom to refer to her fiancé, Luke Broderick, as “the tits.” Then, in her appearance on the After Show, Kristen shared a few more texts she sent to Tom. Reading aloud from her phone, Kristen told Tom to “Be honest and loving. Don’t be a p*ssy.”
And also, she ended, during filming, Tom needed to say, “Doute is my best girl since 2010,” and “Janet [Caperna] is boring.”
