Ariana Madix understands the comparisons between her and Summer House star Ciara Miller. After all, they were both publicly betrayed by people they cared about. For Ciara, the betrayal came in the form of Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s new relationship. Ariana knows their situations aren’t exactly the same, but they’re similar enough.
Is Scamanda the new Scandoval?
Ariana appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Summer House star Carl Radke recently, and naturally, the hot topic of conversation was Scamanda. A scandalous relationship that isn’t destined to last (according to Carl).
This hit close to home for Ariana, who was heartbroken when she found out that her longtime boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, was secretly hooking up with her friend and Vanderpump Rules’ co-star, Rachel Leviss. It was so terrible that the whole drama was nicknamed Scandoval.
Though the parallels aren’t the same in every aspect, Ariana says they don’t have to be exactly the same. They were both betrayed by people they thought they could trust. And while Scandoval walked so Scamanda could run, one thing remains true: these ladies won’t be held back by the drama.
Ariana wanted to grab a drink with Ciara, and now they’ve done so much more. The pair starred in a Sonic commercial together, poking fun at their situation. And now, Ciara has landed a co-hosting stint on Love Island USA. Ciara even managed to make some pointed comments about loyalty on the red carpet with actress Sydney Sweeney.
So it looks like Ariana is happily welcoming Ciara into the heartbreak, romance, and drama club. Although it’s probably an invitation Ciara wanted to avoid. Even though she and West weren’t actively together when this all went down, it was obvious they were still exploring their connection just months before Scamanda happened.
