In case you missed it, the former Vanderpump Rules star signed on for a Netflix reality show hosted by actor Alan Ritchson. The show still doesn’t have a title, but Alan led a group of “high-profile creators and headline-makers” into the wilderness for a series of challenges that tested their “self-reliance, problem-solving, and grit,” per the Netflix synopsis.

They filmed the competition series in Panama back in April, and Tom spent three weeks there. According to a report from TMZ, those three weeks took a toll on his relationship with Victoria.

The competitors didn’t have their phones while filming, and it was the longest they’ve gone without contact since they started dating. Sources claim that all the time apart had Victoria thinking twice about the relationship. Allegedly, she realized that it may have run its course.

When Tom got home from filming, the two sat down for an honest conversation about their relationship. However, sources claim the two had very different perspectives. The three weeks apart made Victoria realize that it might be time to break up. Meanwhile, the absence made Tom’s heart grow fonder. Sources claim that he wanted to make the relationship work.

Ultimately, they decided to stay together, only to wind up making headlines a few weeks later with domestic violence allegations and back-and-forth restraining order requests. Tom claimed that he had been financially supporting both Victoria and her dad for years. Meanwhile, her dad accused Tom of getting physical with Victoria on multiple occasions. The whole thing is a mess.

Naturally, a rep for Tom disputes this version of events and claims that Tom tried to dump Victoria several times. They said he felt “trapped” because she threatened to ruin his life with false accusations if he left. Either way, they’re both moving forward now, and it’s safe to say they’re broken up for good.

“Tom remains focused on the legal process and rebuilding his life,” Tom’s rep insisted.

Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock, and the still-to-be-titled survival show on Netflix has no release date.
