Milania Giudice appears to laugh during her May 14 arrest for alleged domestic violence. Newly released footage from the police dashcam shows her laughing and sporting a smile while in the backseat of the police car. However, while she may have had a smile on her face, Teresa Giudice’s daughter appeared to sit quietly during her ride to the Montville Township Police Department.
Teresa Giudice’s daughter Milania is facing some legal trouble
ICYMI, Milania was arrested during a “domestic violence” dispute at the New Jersey home of her reality star mom and stepdad, Luis Ruelas. According to police reports, Milania was “throwing food (and) candles” and “acting erratically.” Her sister Gabriella Giudice was the one who reported the incident.
During Milania’s arraignment, the judge alleged that the daughter of the Real Housewives of New Jersey star did “knowingly cause bodily injury to another, specifically by striking the victim, L.R., in the head with her fist.”
Milania previously tried to lighten the situation by posting on social media that the mugshot circulating of her was fake. She told followers that “she ate down” in her mugshot and “looked fire.” She admitted she wasn’t proud of it, but was keeping it real. Milania also admitted to not being in a good place at the time of the incident.
Now, in newly released footage obtained by Page Six from the Montville Police Department, it looks like perhaps Milania was similarly trying to make light of the scary situation during her arrest.
The video shows the officers placing a handcuffed Milania in the back of the cop car. She appears to scoff as they buckle her in. Then she looks toward the door and laughs. Afterwards, Milania faces forward smiling. Several frames of the footage show her smiling in the backseat.
At her arraignment, Milania entered a plea of not guilty. She was ordered back to court for a hearing on August 11. The judge notified her that if found guilty, her sentence could include up to six months in jail, probation, and potential fines amounting to upwards of $500.
