Stassi Schroeder Confirms Vanderpump Rules Reunion Has Been Postponed Due To Coronavirus; Says It’s Going To Feel “So Stupid” Arguing Post-Coronavirus

This isn’t surprising news, by any means, but the Vanderpump Rules Season 8 reunion taping has been postponed. Officially. Nevertheless, writing has been on the while for a while, given the current coronavirus pandemic.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion had already been postponed. Below Deck stopped filming Season 8 early. Many TV shows have been put on hold, so, again, this wasn’t a “shock.” But, now it’s official, according to Pump Rules OG Stassi Schroeder.

In a recent episode of her Straight Up With Stassi podcast, Stassi revealed, “It was supposed to be April 3. So, obviously [it is] not going to happen.” Nevertheless, she didn’t seem to mind too much since she described the reunion as “the worst day of the year.” She admitted that she “dreads” attending and shared that it is usually a 14-hour day.

Stassi shared, “You have to get there at seven in the morning and you normally don’t leave until 10 PM.”

Stassi continued, “You just sit here all fucking day long and fight with each other. And it’s like, ‘Woah, this was like a year ago. Why do we have to bring up all of this old shit?'” Yeah, that sounds annoying and taxing, but at least they get paid to be there.

Ultimately, Stassi declared that the reunion is just like Hunger Games. She shared,” “Once it’s over, relationships are even worse than they were when we walked into it.” That’s the perfect setup for the next season’s drama, of course.”

It is assumed that the Vanderpump Rules cast will film the reunion after the coronavirus pandemic. Still, Stassi admits, “I can’t imagine filming a reunion after the coronavirus.”

She theorized, “I feel like I’m going to sit there and be like, ‘I don’t care. I don’t care. This all so fucking stupid.'”

One takeaway from this situation is to not sweat the small stuff and focus on what’s important. It probably would be tough to go from quarantine to arguing about putting Pinterest posts on a t-shirt. It just all seems so unimportant in comparison. Still, this is their job and the fans need an escape from the harsh realities of their own likes.
