This Season 2 storyline in The Valley is all about fandom. Specifically, Kristen Doute called out co-star Janet Caperna for being a “fan” in the tense trailer. Kristen elaborated on her on-screen comment after the trailer aired, and only added fuel to the fire. She claimed that Janet was a fan of Vanderpump Rules, and that she found her way into the VPR friend group years ago.
Janet didn’t initially respond to the drama, but fans quickly started connecting the dots and formed quite the theory. After all, the reality TV sophomore met Schenana Shay at a pool party, and is now coincidentally a part of the same franchise. Was her run-in with Scheana all just one big plot to star on a Bravo show? Now, as the rumor is building, Janet just cleared the air on Watch What Happens Live.
Did Janet Caperna move to try and get on Vanderpump Rules?
Janet, as well as her husband Jason Caperna, were recent guests on WWHL. It was during the segment that host Andy Cohen decided to give Janet a truth bomb. The question inside of the prop asked whether or not she strategically planned to infiltrate the VPR squad.
“I wanna say yes, cause that would make such a good story. So, I wish that was true, but unfortunately it was just [that] Scheana and I met and got along,” she shared in the episode.
The reality TV star did confirm, though, that she was in fact a fan of Vanderpump Rules. And, when it comes to specifically being accused of being a fangirl of Scheana, she’s not completely opposed.
“I kind of love it for Scheana. She deserves to have a superfan,” she quipped.
