The ladies of Real Housewives of Orange County have been hard at work as of late, filming their messiest and (hopefully) truest authentic selves for Season 19. When this series appears once again on Bravo, showcasing their efforts, eight ladies will be at the helm of this affluent orange grove. And all of them are well-known faces in this franchise.
With seven returning cast members, one new face, and one exiled character, things will likely turn chaotic rather quickly. Or so we can only hope. Now, before the golden gates of their secluded community swing wide open to the viewing public, let us host a brief explainer about who our RHOC Season 19 filmed fighters are. And may the odds be ever in their favor.
RHOC Season 19 cast: Who’s New?
The last time we saw the ladies of RHOC, friendships were shifting, both before and after they sat down to film the Season 18 reunion. With so many conflicts present, this cast delivered. Therefore, when Season 19 emerges, the group will remain mostly intact.
However, when Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 appears, we will have one new woman. We recently spoke to Gretchen Rossi, and she noted that we all needed to have our popcorn ready for her debut. Rumor has it that this new cast member will be at odds with Tamra Judge as Season 19 progresses.
Gretchen Rossi
RHOC Season 19 will bring us one returning face with Gretchen. Gretchen is an RHOC alum and departed after Season 8. So, Gretchen will have to rebuild and create relationships with several new faces on this cast, just like a newbie.
However, when we last spoke with Gretchen, she noted that she knew most of these women before filming on Season 19 commenced. Therefore, she is already coming in with a solid network of support on this cast. Well, minus Tamra. Allegedly.
RHOC Season 19 cast: Who’s Returning?
When the curtains reopen in Orange County, seven returning stars will present. These women share longstanding friendships and conflicts. And they love to present satisfactorily, which means that rumors of staged paparazzi shots, empty bank accounts, and checked-out spouses will not land well in this cast.
Even still, these rumors persist. In addition to their interoffice struggles, however, many of these returning faces also have outside storylines that will help create engaging narratives in this series. These narratives include court battles with exes and journeys into the land of sobriety.
Shannon Beador
Shannon Beador and her nine lemons are back for another season of RHOC. When fans last saw Shannon, her drinking patterns were a huge point of contention for Tamra. However, they made peace at the reunion, which the clips taken after this reunion further proved.
Sadly, this peace treaty is already over. “After taking one step forward with Tamra at the reunion, their rollercoaster relationship continues to take more steps backward,” Bravo teases. But Shannon will share a fun new friendship with Katie Ginella for several beats, so hey.
Heather Dubrow
Heather Dubrow and her fancy pants are also back for another round of whiplash on RHOC. And no, Katie. Heather is not bringing the paparazzi with her.
Still straddling two locales, Heather and her penthouse will appear, but will her friendships on this cast remain tight? According to Bravo, this answer is a hard no. Instead, Heather will find “her role as peacekeeper challenged, along with her friendship with Tamra.”
Tamra Judge
Tamra is back, but RHOC Season 19 might be her toughest one to date, she recently shared. Tamra shocked fans back in March by hinting that she exited filming early following a tense cast trip to New Orleans. She later resumed filming, but as Bravo quipped, she might soon regret this decision.
Or not. Tamra is a fighter through and through. Nevertheless, during RHOC Season 19, Tamara will run “into the ultimate test when Gretchen Rossi returns to deal with some unfinished business.”
Gina Kirschenheiter
The last time viewers saw Gina Kirschenheiter, her man, Travis Mullen, had moved out of their formerly shared townhouse, which Gina owns. His ex, however, was a problem for Gina, so separate houses made sense at that time.
This season, their problems with his ex persist, but Gina and Travis are moving back in together. Gina will now set “her sights on exposing lies and righting the wrongs” in this group of women.
Emily Simpson
Emily Simpson will also appear again, standing fit and firm as usual. Until life throws her a curveball in the form of “a rare medical” diagnosis for her son, that is.
“Emotionally drained,” Emily will soon struggle to find the time or mental headspace to mend fences with Katie as RHOC Season 19 progresses. Likewise, the arrival of little Miss Gretchen will also see Emily struggling to prove her loyalty to Tamra, or so Bravo teases.
Jennifer Pedranti
Jennifer Pedranti is back and (hopefully) better equipped to handle her finances this season on RHOC. If not, her costars will clock in again, mainly Tamra. But Jennifer will have a new pal this season in Gretchen because the enemy of my enemy is always my friend, as the saying goes.
However, during this season, “Jennifer is torn between loyalty and truth” once “rumors come to light,” turning this cast upside down.
Katie Ginella
When we last saw Katie, she was coming for Heather. Heather swatted her away, but Katie stood firm in her accusations. Now, in Season 19 of RHOC, Katie might find she has dwindling allies on this cast to support her causes.
According to Bravo, Katie will take us all on an apology tour this season. But her tour will be hard-fought, as “her friendships start to deteriorate” once Katie and her words see her “backed into several corners.”
RHOC Season 19 cast: Who Left?
There was one name on the lips of everyone as Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 progressed. This name caused a lot of dissension among the cast and viewers alike, as she came in hot with Shannon. This cast member arrived with verbal and filmed pieces of evidence showing that Shannon had caused damage to her ex, to whom she is now engaged. But Shannon fought back, and their feud overtook this series.
When RHOC Season 19 airs, this cast member will no longer be attached.
Alexis Bellino
Love her or leave her, Alexis Bellino kept things moving on RHOC Season 18. Yet, following a contemptuous season that divided this cast, making filming difficult at times, Bravo made the call to move on without her in Season 19.
Instead of filming, Alexis is now free to live her best unfilmed days with her man, children, and beloved pets. That said, something still tells us that even without her likeness on this cast, the drama will hold steady during RHOC Season 19.
