When Below Deck first aired in 2013, Bravo knew they had a hit on their hands. Cue their first spin-off in 2016, Below Deck Mediterranean.

Set amongst stunning backdrops on yachts, with hot crew members and particular charter guests in tow, this series had it all. At the helm of Below Deck Med Season 1 was Captain Mark Howard. Sadly, Captain Mark passed away in 2021. But what happened to the eight naughty yachties, who lived, laughed, and mentally lunged at each other during Below Deck Med Season 1?

Where are the Below Deck Mediterranean Season 1 cast now?

The cast of Below Deck Mediterranean Season 1 contained Sassy Brits, a witty Aussie, and several Americans, one of whom became our first fired star in this franchise. Season 1 of Below Deck Med also introduced us to several personalities who would go on to become staples in this franchise, at least for a beat or two. But one of these faces was already incredibly well-known to us viewers at home, as Chef Ben Robinson had already starred in Seasons 1-4 of the original series, Below Deck.

Overall, Below Deck Med Season 1 kicked things off pretty well. So, let us look back at these OG stars to see where they are now.

Hannah Ferrier

Hannah Ferrier was the first-ever chief stew on Below Deck Med. For five seasons, she maintained this throne. But then, Maritime law entered the chat, which saw Captain Sandy Yawn sending Hannah on an early plank walk home during Season 5.

Thankfully, Hannah and Captain Sandy are now in a solid place. Soon, Hannah is reuniting with her former boss for a reunion of sorts. She is also drinking wine while raising her daughter and enjoying her husband, to whom she does not owe 50 Euros, hopefully. (IYKYK).

Julia d’Albert Pusey

Julia D’Albert Pusey was a delightful gem on Below Deck Med Season 1. Working underneath Hannah as her second stew, Julia got along with everyone on board. However, her sass and wit remained strong, which made her confessionals memorable to watch. Oh, Julia also did her job well, making her a unicorn of sorts in this franchise.

Nowadays, Julia, her husband, and their adorable toddler reside in the UK, where Julia founded Myrtle & Maude. According to their website, Myrtle & Maude sells “Natural products designed for every stage: fertility, pregnancy, postpartum [and] breastfeeding.”

Tiffany Copeland

Tiffany Copeland appeared as a third stew on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 1. After departing the Ionian Princess, Tiffany married her long-time love, Evan Jones. In 2021, Tiffany gave birth to their daughter, Amelia Rose Jones.

These days, Tiffany and her trio live on a farm in Virginia, complete with chickens, donkeys, and a farmstand that sells everything from homemade focaccia to berries and eggs. She is also the property manager at White Oaks Preserve, a shooting and hunting range that offers unique outdoor experiences, as stated on their website.

Ben Robinson

Chef Ben jumped ship from Below Deck to lead the way in the galley during Below Deck Med Season 1. He later returned in Season 4, but only for a handful of episodes after the chef during this season got axed. Ben now resides in Florida, where he films cooking tutorials in his kitchen. When not in the kitchen, Chef Ben is selling custom merchandise on his website.

This man has a hysterical retort for every occasion, so we are thrilled that he is soon returning to our screens via Below Deck Down Under Season 4.

Bryan Kattenburg

Bryan Kattenburg was not a fan favorite yachtie during Below Deck Med Season 1. This bosun treated women poorly, both to their faces and behind their backs, speaking as if they were objects instead of humans. Thankfully, the ladies onboard intervened, giving Bryan constructive feedback about how to communicate with women.

Bryan is now married to a woman named Giuls Mori, who often posts from Florida, making this his most likely place of residence after filming on BDM Season 1. Her Instagram is open, so we also learned that Bryan is now a father.

Bobby Giancola

Bobby Giancola, otherwise known as “BOB-AY” to his crush, Julia, appeared as a deckhand during Below Deck Med Season 1. When Season 2 aired, he was once again attached to filming. Yet, in both seasons, Bobby failed to snag his onboard crushes. However, he did score a kiss from a charter guest in Season 2, whom he went on to date for a while.

Bobby still works in the yachting industry. However, instead of swabbing the decks, he is selling them. Denison Yachting is his new employer, and Bobby has been one of their dedicated yacht brokers for the past several years.

Jen Riservato

Jen Riservato worked her tail off on the deck team during Below Deck Med Season 1. Sadly, Bryan nitpicked her every move, all while showing leniency to the males on their team. It sucked. Nevertheless, this openly gay crew member still shone, and now, she spends her days in a much more supportive environment.

Roughly three years ago, Jen married her love, an Angel City FC soccer player named Paige Nielsen. As for what Jen now does, her Instagram page is private. All we can see is her tagline, which states that she is a “New Yorker in Houston.”

Danny Zureikat

Danny Zureikat is our final Below Deck Med Season 1 star, and yes, we saved the most controversial character from this season for last. During Season 1, Danny kissed a charter guest, wrote a love poem for a guest about fish, chilled with naked guests in the hot tub, and exchanged phone numbers with his clients. However, he also argued with his superiors, which eventually led to his firing during this season.

Currently, Danny has traded the yachting life for the bright lights of Hollywood. When he is not auditioning for acting gigs, Danny dabbles in Crypto investing, according to his Threads account.

Below Deck Mediterranean is streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
