Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers recently announced their divorce. Already, their mudslinging is reaching nasty heights. From cheating to abuse allegations, their split is foul. Therefore, in my opinion, now would not be a solid time for Denise to make her return to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 15.
Regardless of my opinion, Denise was just spotted filming for RHOBH. What could go wrong? Everything, maybe, depending on how she plays her newly reacquired role in this series.
While I love that Denise is moving forward with her life, this move might not be the healthiest option for her. I will explain why I feel this way now. In return, using the voice of DENISE F*CKING RICHARDS, please reply, “Thank you. You’re welcome.”
Denise Richards is facing divorce stress with Aaron Phypers

If we have learned anything about the court systems throughout all of these series, it’s that all of the footage captured by the network can (and will) get subpoenaed during any legal proceedings. Therefore, Denise will hopefully be encouraged by her legal team to tread lightly on the topic of Aaron during filming, and this might make her storylines feel either flat or inauthentic at best. Now, talk about a stressful season of filming with that in mind.
Already, Aaron has slammed Denise with cheating and abuse allegations. Denise, in turn, accused Aaron of similar charges of domestic abuse. And she has already gotten a judge to slap her soon-to-be ex with a temporary restraining order, which Aaron has already reportedly violated.
Denise has a lot of stress on her plate. So hopefully, the scenes she is allegedly filming are small and light. The last thing this star needs is additional drama on Bravo, even if it could create excellent scenes on RHOBH.
Denise’s RHOBH return could end in tears

Emotional stress sucks. Denise knows this. Her life has been one messy headline after another, thanks to her lovely taste in men. But do you know what else has also brought her emotions to the forefront of her life?
I do. And this answer involves filming on RHOBH. During Season 10, Brandi Glanville accused Denise of having an affair with her. This allegation became a major storyline, which Denise loudly denied.
Not wanting this rumor to impact her marriage, Denise grew emotional while doing her best to dodge this accusation the entire season. In her confessionals, her eyes were often watery, showing the inner damage that this public accusation was having on her life. Sadly, other women joined in on this fight, as they do, leaving Denise to fend for herself against the task force formerly known as the Fox Force Five.
Then, at the reunion for RHOBH Season 10, her tears were evident, especially when the cameras came back from their random commercial breaks. With her divorce now underway and uglier than ever, I worry about the state of her mental well-being on this cast. Hopefully, Denise is handling herself with grace. But, for the sake of her peace, I do wish that she had refrained from filming for at least one more season.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast aren’t known for being kind to each other during marital issues

Denise and Aaron’s divorce is on everyone’s lips, so we know that Denise would have a lot to bring to the already divorce-heavy cast of RHOBH. But, with that said, this cast is not particularly easy on anyone, even when their chips are down. So, why would Denise subject herself to another potentially nasty season of filming during her divorce, which contains many heated accusations arising from Aaron?
Kyle Richards does her best to stay mum about her separation and potential divorce. But this move on her part has many of her costars seeing red. In their minds, Kyle is not sharing her life on RHOBH.
Likewise, Erika Jayne has gotten flak for years, as her estranged husband is now in jail (where he belongs). Due to her convict’s old age and declining health, Erika has chosen not to divorce her guy, which did not help her case with some of her costars, who then questioned every move she made during his initial arrest and subsequent trials.
Meanwhile, Dorit Kemsley is smoking cigarettes in her car, throwing her estranged man under the wheels of the bus at random. I love to see an activated Dorit. However, her oversharing could later cost her in the courtroom during her divorce.
I would much prefer to see Denise back on this series when her split wraps. But as she is now filming, there is no turning back. So, I can only hope that RHOBH Season 15 will treat her kindly, however often she appears.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills streams on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
