Kyle Stillie is riding multiple waves this season on Below Deck. And those choppy seas lurking underneath his Scottish surfboard? Well, he is responsible for those as well. You see, everywhere Kyle turns, problems with a side of “ew” form. Therefore, Kyle is now giving me a solid case of the ick on Below Deck Season 12.
From his drunken encounters, both alleged and seen, to his quips that are either mean-spirited or, on the flip side, vague and non-committal, I am now side-eyeing this man. Hopefully, he can turn things around before the end of this season. Until then, I stand firm in my opinion, which states that Kyle is cringey AF in Below Deck Season 12.
Kyle Stillie kept changing his story about hooking up with a charter guest on Below Deck Season 12
Helen Hoey just appeared as a primary charter guest on Below Deck. While visiting a nude beach, Helen removed her bikini top to let her girls go free. Then, she asked Kyle to act as her portable flotation device in the water. Kyle was born for such a time as this, so he willingly obliged with her request, twice.
But after Helen departed, Kyle declared that he “f*cked Helen in the water. The whole idea, the whole flotation device, she had the idea in her brain, and she knew what she wanted,” he quipped. Kyle then bragged about his claim for the rest of the night. However, his statements raised the alarm bells for his colleagues, who implored him to turn himself in to Captain Kerry Titheradge.
When confronted by his stone-faced boss, Kyle changed his tune. He did not sleep with Helen, he now admitted. But after Kyle escaped this potential firing, a member of production called him in and asked him one final time, Did he sleep with Helen?
Instead of sticking to his no, Kyle once again turned cheeky, suggesting that we call Helen to learn the truth of this narrative. Hopefully, Helen is okay with Kyle using her name like this on national television. But either way, this whole storyline is cringeworthy AF.
Kyle slept with a random woman on a bathroom floor without protection
The same night that Helen departed, Kyle joined his crew for a night out on the town. Across the table from him sat Solène Favreau, his boatmance crush of this season. Unfortunately for him, Solène has had her eyes and mouth on several other yachties. Now, Kyle has often lamented about her free love showings, but on this particular night, he decided to take action by one-upping Solène.
After Kyle saw Solène flirting with Jess Theron, he grew annoyed. Luckily for him, a cute blonde girl named Martine was standing at the bar. Six minutes later, Kyle and Martine started making out. As they kissed, Solène watched, noting that she was not jealous of Martine.
Matters between Kyle and Martine heated up quickly. So, they retreated to a nearby bathroom for privacy. Not even locking the door or finding a stall, Kyle and Martine hooked up on the dirty floor of the bathroom. And from what he later told his cast, he did not use a condom for this already dirty, urinal-adorned deed.

Kyle has treated Solène poorly
Hear me out. Solène has not presented well with Kyle. She started this season at his side. But when others caught her eye, she ran with her feelings, and, as a result, Kyle ended up with a solid case of hurt feelings.
I understand that Kyle feels frustrated. Nevertheless, he and Solène were a new item. Likewise, they never even cemented their feelings as a couple. So, if you ask me, he needs to get over this mess and move forward.
Sadly, Kyle does not share my sentiments. Instead, he is hitting Solène back where he knows it will hurt: her confidence. After his tryst in the bathroom, Kyle returned to the table, letting Solène know that Martine was “way better” than her. Immediately, her face fell, as did mine, because how necessary was this comment, Kyle?
Back on the yacht, Solène reminded Kyle about his gross commentary. Playing aloof, Kyle answered, “Whatever we had was whatever. I don’t want to know you anymore.”
Kyle needs thicker skin. And a tighter mouth. Because the one he currently has is now giving me the ick.
Watch What Happens Live didn’t help Kyle’s case; he should be fired from Below Deck
During their assorted seasons, many reality television stars head to a taping of Watch What Happens Live. While here, they play fun games and answer cheeky questions, all in an attempt to further explain their various storylines on Bravo. But when Kyle recently stopped into the clubhouse, all this man did was fumble. His appearance was weird, to put it bluntly.
Kyle did clarify that he and Helen never sealed the deal. But then, he said that Helen turned him on while she was floating, and she also kept moving his hands towards her breasts. He also talked about a potential career in porn, citing his erratic sexual behaviors as the cause.
Charter guests deserve a certain level of privacy, even those who willingly sign on to film for Below Deck. Yet, Kyle is consistently breaking this quiet rule on a national level. Not only has he outed Helen with straight lies. But now, he is trying to claim that she wanted his hands on her breasts, and no one is checking him.
Helen must be a good sport because she has yet to release a statement. Yet, for the sake of all future guests, Kyle either needs to clean up his act or get fired from Below Deck Season 12.
