Scheana Shay and Brock Davies have one too many anniversaries to remember. The former Vanderpump Rules couple notably got married in 2022 in a lavish ceremony in Mexico. The event, which included family and VPR cast members, was filmed for the show’s tenth season. However, the couple were wed a year earlier in a civil ceremony in San Diego.
So what do Brock and Scheana do in terms of a wedding anniversary? The Valley stars opened up on the matter during a recent episode of Scheana’s podast, Scheananigans. It’s good to note that they are on the same page and can laugh about the logistical issues.
Scheana Shay and Brock Davies got honest about a marriage date
On the August 29 episode of the Scheananigans podcast, the VPR alum admitted that both she and Brock “didn’t realize” that their anniversary had passed.
“I have to be honest, because, OK, we have two anniversaries,” Scheana explained.
It was only when Janet Caperna’s mom texted her “Happy Anniversary,” that Scheana recalled her wedding in Mexico had occurred three years ago. “And I’m like, I look at the date and I go, ‘Oh my God, I forgot it,'” she said.
Scheana continued, “I’m like, ‘Honey, what is the date?’ And he looks and he’s like, ‘Oh, is it our anniversary?’ I’m like, ‘Oh you forgot?’ Like, ‘How dare you forget?’ He’s like, ‘Wait, you remembered?'”
The couple were headed to Las Vegas for a Backstreet Boys concert around that time. And they were more focused on spending the weekend with their friends. Scheana admitted, “in reality, we forgot that it was our anniversary, probably because I didn’t have it on the calendar. And then Brock asked why it wasn’t on the calendar.”
At least this is the problem du jour for the couple, who had to work through Brock’s infidelity in 2020. Scheana went public with the info with the publication of her book, My Good Side. She referenced the betrayal during her podcast.
“And I said, ‘I don’t know, I might have taken it off the calendar a couple of years ago when I was mad at you, because I didn’t want to remember that date,” the reality TV star suggested.
