Fans were excited when Bravo announced that The Real Housewives of Rhode Island was clocking in as the newest addition to the franchise. Did we see this coming? No. Do we love it? Oh, yes! And we also love how Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania’s boyfriend, Paulie Connell, recently dropped some RHORI news.
Rumors circulated that Dolores was becoming a housewife on the new series. However, she shut down that gossip. “I’m visiting,” Dolores previously clarified. “I’m just visiting.” The RHONJ star does have one friend on the cast, and she noted, “They don’t know what they’re in for.”
Paul “Paulie” Connell said “that’s a wrap” on RHORI
Welp, Paulie shared a carousel of photos in an Instagram post. Dolores and Paulie posed in a series of summery shots, overlooking the water. They showed off a yard with chairs surrounding an outdoor fireplace, with a lovely view of the bay.
“And that’s a wrap Rhode Island … Oh did we have a blast, so so impressed tbh, you have earned a special place in our hearts,” Paulie captioned the photos. “Great people along with great food and so much Fun, RI you are in for a treat, Jersey Style! Stay tuned,” he added.
Then, Dolores wrote in the comments, “Best summer everrr so sad to leave.” However, our eagle-eyed Managing Editor, Daniel Falconer, noted that Paulie may have shared a bit too much. “Did you just spill some RHORI tea, Paulie?” he asked. Paulie responded, “Oooops” with a laughing-crying emoji. Well, I guess the new series has completed filming!
It is clear that Andy Cohen feels pretty good about RHORI. “It’s gonna be amazing. We’re almost done filming the season, and it’s popping!” Andy previously stated. And while casting news is in short supply, Andy did label the newbies “Italian with a capital ‘I’.”
As of now, The Real Housewives of Rhode Island doesn’t have a premiere date. Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
