We could all use some kindness, but the last place you expect to see it is on Bravo. But damn it, call your friends and family because this story managed to melt even my hardened, dark, barely beating heart. Go ahead and grab a tissue because the sun might get in your eyes or you could be at risk of suffering a spontaneous allergy attack after this one. Bravo and the shows on Bravo are many things to many people, but sometimes it’s everything to one person. Today we meet Miss Bella Pape.
Bella loves reality television and all that it implies, her favorites are the Real Housewives and she’s quite familiar with the franchise. But Bella isn’t binge-watching shows on a rainy day, she was born with a disorder that has kept her in long-term care for most of her life. In 2020 Bella was hoping to attend BravoCon, but it was cancelled due to the pandemic. The event has returned in 2021, but Bella’s health is deteriorating and traveling is no longer an option. So the troops rallied and brought BravoCon to Bella, thanks to Real Housewives of D.C. alum, Mary Amons.
This past year has been full of some extreme highs and lows for Brandi Redmond. A video resurfaced of her mocking Asians. After that, she checked into a wellness center in the midst of the backlash.
Her mother-in-law died in a car accident. Brandi’s daughter Brinkley was in the car at the time. Thankfully, she survived the action. Last week, Brandi announced the birth of her fourth child, a baby girl. And now she’s done with Real Housewives of Dallas? Or at least that’s what it seems like she’s saying.
Congratulations are in order Real Housewives of Dallas OG cast member Brandi Redmond. She and her husband Bryan Redmond have welcomed their fourth child to the family.
They already had two daughters, 11-year-old Brooklyn and and 9-year-old Brinkley, in addition to their son Bruin, who is two years old.
Jesus, take the wheel. The women of Real Housewives of Dallas are back on their shit. What even was this Brandi Redmond head on a stick wine party? D’Andra Simmons doesn’t totally deserve to have her hosting skills dragged by Kary Brittingham, but what in the actual fk was that?!
Overall, the dismissal of LeeAnne Locken and addition of Tiffany Moon has turned this franchise around. The parties have been lit, and the new cultural collides are heating up. Off screen, the women just can NOT stop slamming each other about behind-the-scenes shit talk. There’s also been news that there was a whole Housewife axed from this season. Who doesn’t love some post-production gossip?
Welcome to the new era of The Real Housewives of Dallas. Stop sleeping on this franchise because this season is a rebirth for this city. Both the removal of LeeAnne Locken and the arrival of Tiffany Moon have fully shaken up the landscape. Tiffany’s already not shying away from drama and is currently embroiled in a wildly petty feud with Kameron Westcott. Who knew chicken feet could have this sort of impact?
Sadly, Real Housewives of Dallas viewers have to endure yet another season with Kary Brittingham. If you found her annoying last season, she’s even more grating this season. Her newfound desire to poke and prod at D’Andra Simmons over everything is exhausting. Why is she choosing to constantly attack her alleged close friend? Is that what friends do. D’Andra’s seeing a shaman these days, but how much bullying can someone take before there’s no inner peace left?
Tiffany Moon hasn’t wasted any time sharing her culture with the ladies. The Real Housewives of Dallas are out of their comfort zone more than ever before. We’re actually about to have a full on feud over the refusal to consume a chicken foot. Kameron Westcott may have the palate of a third grader, but who is Tiffany to berate her for that? Tiffany is bringing some rich vibes this season, but at what point does that turn to snotty?
Now that the group is moving on from the Brandi Redmond racist video mocking Asians, the future is becoming clearer. There’s obviously something brewing between Kary Brittingham & D’Andra Simmons. Who claims to be someone’s friend and then berates them the way Kary did to her on last week’s episode of Real Housewives of Dallas. A small amount of playful teasing is one thing. However, Kary is coming off like a bully. Will D’Andra hold her accountable?
Is everyone ready for the first Real Housewives of Dallas season without LeeAnne Locken? While she may have been a lightning rod for drama on the show, she also brought a lot of heavy baggage. The cast is going to feel so much lighter and fresher without her in the mix. All of the women besides LeeAnne are back this season, and they’re joined by newbie Tiffany Moon. It’ll be curious to see how she addresses Brandi Redmond’s racist video mocking Asian people.
The women are tasked with filming during the global pandemic, and that’s no easy feat. COVID has struck everyone in different ways, so watching these ladies navigate the virus is going to be fascinating. This season has boatloads of potential, and it would be nice to see them climb the hierarchy of Housewives cities. They’ve been at the bottom for far too long. Perhaps with this fresh new vibe, they can show fans that everything truly is bigger in Texas.
It’s been a hot second since the Real Housewives of Dallas has been on our screens. Much has happened in our time off. Most recently, D’Andra Simmons has been admitted to ICU due to Coronavirus. Then there’s hot mess express Brandi Redmond. If you thought we were through with the overt racism on this franchise after the loss of LeeAnne Locken, think again. Brandi’s recent remarks are reportedly included in the upcoming 5th season.
This season will also feature newest Housewife, Tiffany Moon. Tiffany is an accomplished anesthesiologist and an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center! Can’t wait to see how she stacks up against a green powder power-house and the glitter dog-food-empress.
