Leah McSweeney is a lot of things. New cast member on Real Housewives of New York. Drunken mess. Ramona Singer frenemy. Fan favorite. It’s true, fans love Leah. She’s a breath of fresh air on what I would call a vintage franchise. Leah has even called for more diversity amongst the cast, something we haven’t seen since Jules Wainstein in season 8.
But Leah isn’t without controversy. She has a past of controversial statements. She wrote a piece about “toxic femininity”. And according to Ramona, she has a serious drinking problem. That might have something to do with Leah claiming Ramona poops during sex in a now-infamous Cameo. But either way, Leah is going there and Ramona, for once, is powerless to stop her.
Most live talk shows are on a hiatus in response to the Coronavirus outbreak. However, there are some that have just switched things up by filming separately at home via video chat. After a bit of a break, Watch What Happens Live returns tonight. And, yes, Andy Cohen will still be hosting, despite his own Coronavirus diagnosis.
Watch What Happens Live will be taped from the privacy of Andy’s apartment. But he will still have some guests on the episode, also taping remotely from wherever they are quarantining.
We all know that Jerry O’Connell and his wife Rebecca Romijn are Bravo superfans, but how far does that fandom go?
During last night’s Watch What Happens Live, a viewer called in to ask, “Have you ever roleplayed with Rebecca in the bedroom as any Bravo couple? If so, who was it?” What a question! And Jerry’s answer even had the normally talkative Andy Cohen, sitting there speechless.
Yes, that’s Wendy Williams in the Real Housewives of Atlanta mid-season trailer telling NeNe Leakes, ” give these girls friendship and love.” Is that actually going to happen? I doubt it. This is RHOA, after all.
However, Wendy’s RHOA insight goes beyond that cameo appearance via speakerphone. She spilled some major tea on her talk show this morning.
Teresa Giudice’s history on Real Housewives of New Jersey has all the makings of a Shakespearean drama. In 2014, Teresa and her husband, Joe Giudice, plead guilty to federal fraud charges. He was sentenced to 41 months
in prison at camp, and Teresa received a sentence of 15 months. Teresa was released from prison on December 23, 2015.
Joe was transferred to ICE custody after finishing his prison stint in March. Since Joe is not a United States citizen, he was ordered to be deported to Italy. He is appealing that order in hopes of returning home to his wife and four daughters. During the Season 9 RHONJ reunion, Teresa revealed that if her husband is sent off to Italy, they are going to divorce. So much for old-school values! Teresa has been seen holding hands with another, much younger man, but her attorney has assured the world that they are only friends. Really? That seems very friendly.
Season 14 of Real Housewives of Orange County has just begun, and it looks like there is plenty of drama. That is great news for anyone who
slept through attempted to watch the last couple of seasons. Of course, Kelly Dodd is once again at the center of all the theatrics.
At one time, the newly demoted Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly were close friends. Then Vicki and her man Steve Lodge went on a double date with Michael Dodd, who is Kelly’s ex. That breach of girl code tanked their friendship. Kelly is fighting with co-star Tamra Judge on social media. And Shannon Beador also hinted that her friendship with Kelly went downhill during the season.
It’s no secret that Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are Vanderpump Rules superfans. Both of them constantly tweet about their obsession. The couple also appeared opposite the cast on an episode of Family Feud. Plus, Chrissy is the only most famous person to care about Meemaw’s Beer Cheese. Who could ever forget the couple singing the show’s theme song on Watch What Happens Live!?
This level of super-fandom has even made Chrissy Kyle Richards’ top choice to join the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s safe to say that many Bravolebrities view Chrissy as a huge step up from everyone they know friend. So much so that she and John are invited to Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s wedding!
Could you imagine going from being a Real Housewives superfan to actually interacting with them? What about being in a feud with one of the Housewives? That sounds both thrilling and terrifying, depending on the Real Housewife, of course.
Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn have been very vocal about their love for the Real Housewives franchise. They’ve both appeared on Watch What Happens Live many times to share their opinions (and throw some shade). They’ve even hung out with the Housewives outside of WWHL. Usually, they’re well-received by the Housewives, but that was not the case when they met Brandi Glanville.
