Lala Kent

Lala

Considering how dehydrated the Vanderpump Rules cast members are for attention, it is a bit surprising that pretty much no one has spoken out about four cast members getting fired. Yeah, Tom Sandoval made some vague remarks about waiting to see what happens, but other than that, it’s pretty much been silence from the rest of the cast members. Straight up crickets.

Most likely, they’re all just wary about losing their jobs… if the show even comes back. However, Lala Kent has finally spoken out about Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder getting fired from the show.

Margaret Josephs Real Housewives of New Jersey

In the high-exposure world of reality TV, plastic surgery is pretty common place. So it’s not all that surprising when a housewife or Bravolebrity graces our screen with a new sort of, freshness. So many have done it and have been open about it. We recently told you about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley getting a new set of chompers. Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss, admitted to liposuction. To the surprise of no one who happens to have eyes, former Utah resident/Vanderpump Rules cast member, Lala Kent has detailed most of her procedures without hesitation.

The ladies of Real Housewives of New Jersey are no exception. Teresa Giudice has admitted to a boob job and even daughter, Gia Giudice, just revealed her new nose. And while Jennifer Aydin got her husband to do her cosmetic work, Dolores Catania had to hide hers from her boyfriend until the last minute. Now another RHONJ is getting that glow up too.

Kristen says she’s not a saint and has a lot to learn after calling the cops on Faith Stowers

It was only two months ago that we were reading stories about Stassi Schroeder saying she was tired of being called a “mean girl”. Back then, it was towards Kristen Doute. It feels like a lifetime ago. In those days, Kristen’s biggest concern was the fact that Vanderpump Rules wasn’t showing her friendship with Ariana Madix. Now fast forward. Both Stassi and Kristen have been fired after racist actions towards former cast-mate Faith Stowers. Seriously. It’s only been two months since this whirlwind. Time flies when you’re holding people accountable!

Of note is the fact that Faith has decided to start over with former (current? who cares?) hostess Lala Kent. These two were fast friends originally. If you missed it, Kristen reached out the Faith as well. At that time Faith declined to speak with her. Sort of sad, since even Scheana Marie, says Kristen has never been one of the mean girls. Anyways. While Stassi continues to focus attention back on her boring basic bitch cookie-cutter life, Kristen is still trying to share her feelings and reflections on the entire situation.

Lala Kent Randall Emmett Vanderpump Rules

Dana Wilkey might go down as one of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ greatest friend of. Some of you might be scratching your heads as to who the hell Dana is. Well, for starters, “did you hear? $25,000.” As in, sunglasses. $25,000 for sunglasses. Ringing a bell now?

Yes, Dana was one of the earliest (and thirstiest) of housewife friends. She was introduced to us by none other than Taylor Armstrong, so please direct all your grievances her way. Dana’s stint on RHOBH was short, but impactful. Boasting about absurdly expensive sunglasses even made Kyle Richards blanche at the time. And for that, I salute Dana. Or Pam. Or whatever she calls herself because there is the whole question of her real name too.

Faith Stowers

There is absolutely nothing remotely acceptable about the way that Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute treated Faith Stowers in 2018. They accused her of committing crimes she had nothing to do with based on security camera footage of another black woman who was not Faith. They called the police and the military police (Faith is a veteran) and then they bragged about this in a podcast and on social media.

At the time, there was very little outrage in response. Now, in the midst of the Black Lives Matter movement, Faith got a lot of support when she told that story (which she should have had back then when she shared the same information). Shockingly, Bravo took action this time, firing Stassi and Kristen along with Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens, who both had racially offensive tweets resurface in January 2020. When Faith told her story again, she was finally heard. She finally had support. Then she started doing more interviews, talking about how she’d love to “return” to the show, where she was never a full-time cast member. She went from claiming Lisa Vanderpump doesn’t care about George Floyd’s death because George Floyd isn’t a dog to praising Lisa for accepting Bravo’s decision to fire four cast members.

And that’s when opinions on this started to divide. While there’s no doubt that that Faith was mistreated, some people wonder if Faith had an agenda with her recent comments. Obviously, this is such a sensitive situation for many reasons, but adding to the scandal is a leaked private message conversation between Faith and an unknown person from before the firings, where Faith seemingly reveled in the idea of Lisa Vanderpump “kissing her ass” to “come back to the show.” Of course, it’s always possible this could have been fabricated, but if it wasn’t the messages do paint a very different take on the situation.

Vanderpump-Rules-Billie-Lee

The Vanderpump Rules kids (and by kids I mean middle-aged adults) are at it again! As fans cry for Jax Taylor to be fired and he is dropped from an eye-wear company deal… not even Lance Bass could stop from announcing ending his business with Jaxy-poo. This is the same couple of week that Stassi Schroeder  confirms her pregnancyStassi and Kristen Doute are fired from VPR, and we get to finally end this miserable season of the show.

Are you keeping up? Good. If you have been watching Vanderpump Rules for a while (and I assume you have because no one would stick around if this was their first season), then you remember Billie Lee. For those of you who somehow don’t know, Billie is a transgender cast-member of seasons past. She is best known for her activism, attempted education of this ignorant AF cast, and getting into an epic screaming match with Lala Kent. Specifically, she tried (and was shut down) to speak to Stassi about her problematic podcast statements on the show. She’s been commenting on the lack of VPR diversity since before it was cool. Also, she had sex with a ghost. Iconic.

Vanderpump Rules Andy Cohen Jax Taylor

Honestly what is left to say about Vanderpump Rules? Is there any point in discussing this? Can I bow out now with just a sayonara to the OG’s. We know that at least a 1/3 of the cast won’t return. Bravo hasn’t announced it yet, but I doubt we’ll see Lala Kent, Brittany Cartwright, or Jax Taylor next season. Well, not if they expect me to watch anyway. And we alllll know Bravo is catering things to my specific wants!

With sponsors and D-list celebrities cutting ties with Jax in response to his not-so-secret Twitter behavior, it’s only a matter of time. Like Ariana Madix pointed out during the season, Brittany is collateral damage.

But truly, after Jax got on national television, smugly insulted his boss and tried to call Andy Cohen out, I think it’s time for ‘his show’ to end. Jax’s ego is out of fucking control! He’s gross, slimy, a liar, a racist, a homophobe, and emotionally abusive to his wife. He’s also emotionally abusive to his castmates. Stassi Schroeder, who really has no room to talk, said at this point everyone is afraid to confront Jax because he’s so vicious.

Vanderpump Rules Lala Kent

At this point, it’s tough not to think “what’s the point” when it comes to finishing out this season of Vanderpump Rules. We all know that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni got fired. Without Stassi, it’s obvious that Beau Clark won’t film next season. Rumor has it that Jax Taylor might be next on the chopping block. Or at least that’s what some fans want in addition to some disgruntled VPR alums.

So, it just feels a little bit fruitless to watch this final reunion episode. However, the TV options during the coronavirus pandemic are rather limited, so here we are.
