Last night Real Housewives Of Orange County took us behind the scenes of season 8 – you know the last season we were subjected to Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino!

So here’s a run-down of the behind-the-scenes reveals:

1. The producers lie to everyone. Case in point: Alexis Bellino. Alexis insists she quit; Heather Dubrow and Tamra Judge insist she was fired. At the CUT Fitness party, the opening party for season 8, after Alexis flees following the onslaught from the ladies, she is overheard telling the producers, “This is why I didn’t want to come back!” The producers admitted they worked behind the scenes to convince Alexis to return – including that Vicki Gunvalson would befriend her, and by hiring Lydia McLaughlin.

While Vicki and Brooks' relationship appears to be as on-and-off as a light switch, Lauri is ~~Waring~~ wary that the couple's recent break-up may not be what it seems. She is speculating that the pair is using the story of a turbulent love affair to appease family and friends when they are actually quite happy together behind closed doors.

Real Housewives of Orange County was full all about actors last night. Except the only person who was legitimately doing any acting was Heather Dubrow. And no – she wasn't acting like a biatch this episode. Oh wait… yes she was but not as part of her real life, but as part of a role she was hired to play. But not for Bravo. AAAAHHH! I'm so confused…

Things begin with a blast from the past. Gold digging expert Lauri Peterson is resurrected to give Tamra Barney a little advice on making marriage number three last. Third times a charm, eh! They meet up at a jewelry store and Lauri looks great. All three of her children are doing well and good for her – hopefully life is going smoothly.

Since Lauri and Tamra were never really friends they resort to talking about someone they have in common: Vicki Gunvalson. Tamra fills Lauri in on how post-divorce Vicki is like soooo delusional and dating a loser. Lauri snickers and chooses this time to remind Tamra about how Vicki broke up her marriage to Simon. That's a great thing to be discussing while you're choosing a wedding ring for your third betrothed. #ManEaters

Judging by the previews (and by a little intereview Tamra Barney did) Lauri gets vicious with the ladies who do not welcome her arrival back into their circle. She apparently offends Vicki Gunvalson over her failed marriage and her off-again/on-again relationship with Brooks Ayers!

Tamra Barney Dishes On New Season Of Real Housewives of Orange County; Slams Lauri Peterson!

Tamra Barney has had an exciting year! She's finally set a date for her wedding to Eddie Judge, she's opened her own fitness studio C.U.T. Fitness (which has its grand opening tomorrow), and the eighth season of Real Housewives of Orange County premieres in one month!

Apparently the drama this season will be quite insane with the ladies bickering and going through several personal dramas. "Friendships change constantly," Tamra tells OK Magazine. "Last year it ended with me and Vicki [Gunvalson] in a huge fight and I think you’ll see the ups and downs of us this year."

"Vicki and I—we go up and down. We fight and we make up," Tamra explains. "But even when we’re fighting we still talk. It’s crazy. We have a really weird relationship."

Real Housewives of Orange County’s Vicki Gunvalson No Longer With Brooks Ayers; Tamra Barney Shops For Wedding Gown Number Three!

I can now say with certainty that Real Housewives of Orange County's Vicki Gunvalson's love tank is no longer being filled by Brooks Ayers. What? No more daily affirmations? No more crawfish boils? No more rented furs? I wonder what happened there…I'm guessing that she got tired of spending all her money on him. Vicki recently chatted about all things Season 8, grandson Troy, and bacon vodka. What is the housewives' obsession with having their own liquor line?

Also in RHOC news, Tamra Barney is shopping for her wedding duds and bringing along the majority of her co-stars…whether she's friends with them or thinks they are fake air heads. That's right. Vicki, Heather Dubrow, Gretchen Rossi, former cast member Lauri Waring Peterson, new housewife Lydia Stirling McLaughlin, and dun dun dun dun…Alexis Bellino (what?) all accompanied Tammy on her trek to find the perfect gown. I'm sure that was fun!

On last night’s episode of Real Housewives of Orange County it was all about Gretchen Christine. She’s got a zillion careers. One of them, is unfortunately singing, which she can’t actually do, and another one is dating Slade Smiley, which is really just an unnecessary side-job she should quit.

Well, Gretchen Christine is quite the fair-weather friend isn’t she? So, she arrives at Alexis Bellino‘s latest rent-a-mcmansion and plops her Gretchen Christine handbag on the counter and starts doing the QVC descriptor hands over the intricately designed leatherette flower, while Lex oooohhhs and aaaahhhs. This is taking the Bravo Home Shopping Network a touch too far. Quick question: Anybody out there sporting one of those jalopies? Yeah, didn’t think so!
