Thankfully Season 8 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsis almost over. It is beyond me how they managed to drag out the discussion of this painfully boring season into a three-part reunion, yet here we are: one episode away from putting this god awful season behind us.
This season has been downright dreadful. Essentially nothing has happened, yet the loyal fans are still here finishing it up watching the reunion episodes. Now Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is commenting on her tension with Dorit Kemsley– over glassware and tardiness.
Is there a reason the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills reunion is three parts? A good portion of last night was more footage of the ladies doing lunch, albeit backstage where they continued talking about each other’s low-level dramas.
As much as I enjoy watching Lisa Vanderpump sitting around in her bathroom eating salad while counseling DoritKemsley through perceived slights against Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, it’s evident that this was filler so Bravo could bilk another episode out of the rather lackluster reunion. I’m in the minority, apparently, in not minding that the drama was mostly surface and petty – it’s a nice breather from such heavy seasons about substance abuse and serious family dysfunction (I mean I love that too), but I certainly think they could’ve gotten away with a two-part reunion.
It is always interesting to see Real Housewivesstars from different shows hanging out together. There’s just something about the worlds colliding within this reality TV franchise that will always be intriguing.
Unfortunately, there really isn’t much to discuss when it comes to Season 8 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. We are all just waiting for the reunion to wrap up and hoping that some casting changes are made for Season 9.
One person who doesn’t mind the lack of drama this season is OG cast member Kyle Richards. It’s understandable that she would want a less stressful filming experience, but is it worth it when the viewers are very vocal about their lack of interest in this show? Just scroll through Twitter on Tuesday nights and you’ll see the word “boring” multiple times in response to every episode this season.
Even though Brandi and Scheana have made peace, it still rubbed Brandi the wrong way when she found out that Scheana had a podcast with the same company that had a very similar premise to her own. To make matters worse, Brandi’s longtime enemy (and Scheana’s boss) Lisa Vanderpump’s influence over Scheana caused Brandi to (temporarily) quit her own show.
Say what you want about James Kennedy, but no one can deny that he always brings the entertainment on Vanderpump Rules. The self-proclaimed “White Kanye West” is constantly defending himself from cheating accusations, blessing the fandom with original music, or saying something hilarious.
James opened up about which Real Housewivescast members he would collaborate with and his thoughts on all of the major story lines this season on Vanderpump Rules.
