RHOP Monique Samuels Real Housewives Of Potomac

Welcome to my press conference with absolutely zero press. I’m here to announce a few things, and don’t worry, none are printed on the back of my t-shirt. First of all, after a Coronavirus delay, our Real Housewives of Potomac ladies are set to come back for Season 5 the first week of August. Taglines are here people! I’m about to build an entire champagne room to celebrate. This franchise is an absolute gift. If you’ve been sleeping on this one, it’s time for a binge. Trust me.

This season viewers will be welcoming Dr. Wendy Osefo to the cast. Apparently Bravo thought she would bring a nice work ethic due to the fact that she’s a political commentator and professor. I’m looking forward to watching her mix it up with either Candiace Dillard or Monique Samuels. You can’t stay neutral on these two! Both women have filed second degree assault charges on the other. These claims were made after a dinner party during the filming. All for this new season! Apparently, the charges were dropped. And what’s the next thing you do after being dismissed from a crime? Drop a rap song! Of course!

Real Housewives Of Potomac Season 5 Taglines Are Here

After a coronavirus-induced delay, Real Housewives of Potomac season 5 is finally approaching. The show returns for season five on Sunday, August 2 at 8 pm.

After a stellar season four, the anticipation for season five is building up. And, now, we have the taglines for the upcoming season. A good tagline makes you laugh and serves as the perfect preview of what to expect from someone’s storyline for the season.

New Real Housewives Of Potomac Premiere Date Announced

Real Housewives of Potomac season 4 was fire. The show has been getting better and better every year. We were all so excited for the ladies to return for the season 5 premiere in May. However, unfortunately, the premiere was very vaguely pushed back until “summer 2020.”

Because of the pandemic, there are very few shows that are filmed and ready to go. Additionally, it just takes longer for the editors to put the editors together from home in comparison to when they are in their normal offices. Plus, other Bravo shows had to put filming on hold, meaning that at some point, they’re bound to be out of new episodes. Yes, it made total sense to push back the premiere, but the news was still a major bummer to the Real Housewives of Potomac fans.

Marlo Hampton Gathers The Casts Of Real Housewives Of Atlanta, Real Housewives Of Potomac & Married To Medicine For Powerful Black Lives Matter PSA

Marlo Hampton is the queen of stirring the pot on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. But it turns out the perennial Friend of the Housewives can also unite a host of Bravo stars for a good cause.

The outspoken fashionista recently organized a PSA for Black Lives Matter starring the casts of RHOA, Real Housewives of Potomac, and Married to Medicine, and the results are nothing short of powerful.

Stassi Schroeder

It’s only been one day since the reality show world was rocked to its core. In case you live under a rock, Vanderpump Rules stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired for racist behavior. The target of their behavior was ex-cast mate, Faith Stowers, who is black. A few years ago, both Stassi and Kristen falsely accused her of stealing and called the cops on her. Their claims were completely baseless and cruel.

In addition to Stassi and Kristen being fired, Bravo also made the (correct call) to fire two more VPR stars. In the same announcement, Bravo confirmed that newbies Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni are donzo. Honestly, this was long overdue considering we found out mid-season that Max and Brett have a history of racist tweets.

Real Housewives Of Potomac Premiere Delayed Because Of Coronavirus

One of the few good things to help get through this quarantine has been the Bravo programming. The network has blessed us with some throwback marathons. We’ve had new episodes of Real Housewives of New York, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shahs of Sunset, Vanderpump Rules, Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and more. Even Watch What Happens Live has started filming episodes via webcam to adjust to life during the coronavirus pandemic.

Every day, I look forward to that night’s new Bravo show, because, let’s face it, I have nowhere to go. The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 premiere is right around the corner. Oh, wait. It was right around the corner. Unfortunately, plans have changed.

Real Housewives Of Potomac Introduce A New Cast Member For Season 5
Real Housewives of Potomac had a pretty solid cast the past four seasons.  Original housewives Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, and Ashley Darby provided just the right mix of drama and friendship.  Gizelle could always be counted on for directing snarky comments towards frenemy Karen while Robyn hung on her coattails.  Monique Samuels joined the cast in Season 2.  She brought a fun vibe to the group, as well as a more laid-back attitude overall.
Things got heavy last season when Ashley’s husband Michael Darby was accused of sexual assault.  The rumors were peaking during filming and caused tensions within the group as Ashley was pressed for answers.  The housewife that seemed most affected was Candiace Dillard.  Candiace went after Ashley with some seemingly misplaced anger, probably something she meant to direct to mama Dorothy.  At this point, the mother-daughter bickering is getting a bit tired.  As are a few other storylines.   Did anyone really care about Robyn rekindling her love life with ex-husband Juan Dixon last season?  How about the underwhelming reveal of Karen’s fragrance line?  Maybe it’s time to bring some new energy to the show.

Real Housewives of potomac

During these tough times, there is one bit of good news. The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 trailer dropped and it looks amazing! Everyone from last season is back and they are joined by Wendy Osefo, which isn’t surprising since pictures from the cast photoshoot leaked a few months ago and Wendy was in them.

It looks like everyone is bringing it this year. Karen Huger is right when she quips, “Five years, boo boo, and we going strong.”
