Teresa Giudice And Joe Giudice’s Fraud Trial Postponed!

'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' stars Joe and Teresa Giudice have pleaded not guilty to federal fraud charges.

Busy week for the New Jersey court system where the Real Housewives of New Jersey are concerned!

Earlier we reported that Jacqueline Laurita's trial for the infamous Posche 2 Brawl had been moved, and now comes news that Teresa and Joe Giudice's federal fraud trial has also been postponed!

The couple was slated to stand trial in Newark, NJ on October 8th, but now will appear in court on February 24, 2014! Joe is already standing trial in October for his fake ID trial, the judge opted to push his other fraud trial back as lawyers for both sides petitioned for a continuance.

Since Joe is using the same defense attorney for both trials, the Judge felt it was better to move the second case back. “The failure to grant a continuance would unreasonably deny [him] continuity of counsel and the reasonable time necessary for effective preparation in this case,” NorthJersey.com quotes the U.S. District Judge Esther Salas as stating.

Additionally Judge Salas noted the "large amount" of financial and other evidence the defense would need to prepare and opted to give them more time to prepare a defense. They are really gaming to get a conviction!

Teresa and Joe are currently facing a 39-count indictment and both are pleading not guilty. And Joe faces up to 10-years in prison for illegally obtaining a drivers license in his brother's name when his own license was suspended due to multiple driving infractions, including a DUI. If convicted in the federal fraud case Joe faces deportation
